      Impressive work.
      However, you skipped two presidents after the Estrada and before the Duterte administration Namely:
      * Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo(now congresswoman and the daughter of former president Diosdado Macapagal.)
      * the late Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III.

      You have managed to make a video of almost an hour on the "complete" history of the Philippines without talking about Andrés de Urdaneta and the "tornaviaje" (return trip to America from the Philippines), without talking about the Manila galleon (Asia-America-Europe trade for centuries), without talking about the real of eight, without talking practically about Catholic evangelization... Congratulations.
      Ha conseguido usted hacer un vídeo de casi una hora sobre la historia "completa" de Filipinas sin hablar de Andrés de Urdaneta y el "tornaviaje" (viaje de retorno a América desde Filipinas), sin hablar del galeón de Manila (comercio Asia-América-Europa durante siglos), sin hablar del real de a ocho, sin hablar prácticamente de la evangelización católica... it is wrong to say that Marcos is a dictator during the Martial Law days, during those times philippines is really in chaos, because of rebels and terrorist, supported by communist china. Communism starting to spread in the philippines during the 1970's because of Ninoy Aquino, and the MArtial Law has stop the spread of communism.

    Our province Pangasinan(Caboloan) was only influenced by Chinese because of a Pirate who seek a place to hide as he is being hunted by Chinese forces. He became friends with the native tribe of Caboloan, he is Limahong. He then was force to leave the province because the Spanish Musketeers hunt them. Pangasinan has its own native dialect and it's not even influenced by Chinese as it was already exist long before the Chinese pirate arrived.

    • @iangang9535
      @iangang9535 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@HuwagSalangin this is also what i learned in high school. Limahong was a pirate leader, who made caboloan one of his bases of operations. He just happened to be an ethnic Chinese. That's why I'm even more confused that caboloan is mentioned here as part of Ming's area of influence. It's also not clear if that influence is political or cultural. If it's political, that can be challenging to prove due to Limahong being a pirate. If it's cultural only, that would make more sense considering that most Filipinos with Chinese ancestry can trace their lines back to Fujian province in China.

    • @HuwagSalangin
      @HuwagSalangin หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@iangang9535 Caboloan was already a established town as it was a known trade route during the Ming dynasty where Limahong was a fugitive pirate. Caboloan is a name derived from bamboo specie called Bolo, a lightweight and thin bamboo commonly used for cooking and kubo wall, commonly known these days as Boho(just like how Aeta cook their meals). Pangasinense language is derrived from Malayo-Polynesian languages, it is evident on how we count on our dialect(sakey, duwa, talo, apat) not even a pinch or our local dialect is derrived from Chinese, our eyes are not Chingky, we are not yellow-white skinned, we are naturally tanned just like Ilocanos. According to history which even proved by my grandparents, Ilocanos once envy the Pangasinense because we are wealthier due to the center trades, they choose to live near Caboloan for livelihood that is why nowadays the central pangasinan composed of native speakers and the towns around it are Ilocano speakers. My grandparents once told us that as far as they can recall, their grandparents vows at the sun during sunrise and sunset because they worship the sun 😂

    Actually the Spanish refused to surrender their last remaining colonies in The Philippines and Cuba even though by the 19th century the Spanish Empire was a skeleton of its former self and they only surrendered to the US not only because the US gave $20 million to Spain but also because to the Spanish point of view, it was better to surrender the islands to the White Americans to the Brown Native Filipinos.
