I made this today for my two friends and we loved it. Instead of beef broth, I made broth from Lipton beefy onion soup mix and it worked well as a replacement.

Hi Catherine had to come back and tell you I made this french onion smothered pork chops last night for supper. OMG girl were they off the wall good! People out there has got to try this. Tonight I am making one of your foil packets meals. I opened up my refrigerator and cleaned out the last of my fresh vegetables to add to the foil meal. I used smoked sausage slices. You forgot to mention how great the kitchen smells with these in the oven. I would be a very rich lady if some how I could invent a can of air freshener like what my kitchen smells like now.. It's therapeutic.

This French Onion gravy looks sooo delicious, the caramelized onions are amazing. One pot meals are always wonderful. Easy to put together and easy clean up too!👍😋🧅🧄🥔🍽

These were a hit at my house tonight. Easy and delicious. It has also given me the confidence to make homemade French Onion Soup. I also made your Punch Bowl Cake for a post funeral meal, and it too was a hit. I stayed up late to do it, and I’m glad I did, as there were no other desserts. Gonna’ reduce quantity next time and use Splenda cake mix and sugar free pudding...as a diabetic I gotta’ try to reduce carbs while still enjoying somewhat. Blessings for you and yours.

Hi Catherine, I've been binge watching your channel lately. I love the recipes, although I do have to revise them somewhat. I can't eat green onions, heavy onions or most of the spices, as my body just won't tolerate them.

Made this for dinner last night. I use pork steaks and just cut them in half it was an awesome meal big hit here at-home great alternative to the way I usually make pork steaks. ❤❤
