For the cabinets with only large bottom open storage, you can purchase a pull out that attaches to the cabinet so that you have better visual and reach for the storage.

Okay, this is perfect for me. I'm currently good on the bathroom storage front, but I've been trying to find the perfect storage space for my toiletries and makeup for the bedroom, and I've been failing miserably for literally months. I listed the thrift/vintage sites in the description box. But don’t forget antique stores and estate sales And if anyone is interested, my cabinet is from 1920 from Paolo Buffa, a famed designer of Art Deco furniture.

I know it is a little embarrassing how many products I have. I have different day and night routines and switch up some products during the week. I am 54 and trying to keep this skin tight and glowing. 😜 No Botox or fillers, yet. I am obsessed with the new cabinet and so glad I did not stay hung up on the fact that it was a bar. When I found the channel clutterbug and her dividing us all into 4 organisational styles and needs it really clicked. If you don't like putting things back, you might be a butterfly or ladybug if I am correct. While her style might not fully vibe with mine, the general insight is really interesting.

Wood and steam won’t be conducive for a long term solution. The hinges and metal on wheels will rust and wood will warp. Cute idea if only taking baths
@@karlajames9653 You do realize built-in under sink cabinets are made of wood and have hinges? Plus the cabinet is from 1920, it has its rust, a little warped. That is why I chose it
@@macondesigns yes but they are covered with a veneer for humidity and moisture resistance material. If it works for you great. Just wouldn’t be a choice I would make 🤗
@@karlajames9653 Mine does have a thick varnish on it. It is sealed for moisture. Maybe that wasn’t so clear to see in the video. Sorry. Plus I guess it is a European thing. It is not uncommon to use antique cabinets here in the bathroom. Loving the conversation!

I would get a full size mirror to sit on the top of your bathroom vanity , it’ll make the bathroom bigger and you’re love it better when you put on your makeup, mirror inside the mirror I don’t think you’ll like that, too small

It’s beautiful and a great idea. I’d be afraid to put wood in the bathroom. My bathroom is also too small for any of those.
@@1ronmad1n most sink cabinets are made of wood. As long as they are well varnished to resist moisture. Have you tried utilizing all wall space? Shallow hanging cabinets? Especially mirrored ones to optically expand the room
Indeed. Nothing but positivity was my intention. Just giving an opinion. I have noticed the furniture overseas is definitely of a different level. More veneer and very detailed. I don’t care for antiques but can appreciate the workmanship.
I love the cabinet on its own. I think the bathroom would look way better if you had one storage piece that continued up the wall like a hutch or a closed cabinet, for all of the storage and eliminated those small wall shelves.
@@pamelafox7677 I probably am going to get rid of most the shelves. But I like at least one or two to hold decorative items. Where the cabinet is is the door entering the bathroom, something taller would totally block the view into the bathroom don’t you think?

I AGREE! IF you check out your local Salvation Army, donation stores you can find MUCH cheaper cabinets that are tall or short.
I found a smaller version of a bedroom chest that had 2 door on top with 2 shelves inside & 3 drawers on the bottom. Will be perfect for my small bathroom!!
