Then one night it happened. I woke up 4 times with a song playing in my head. I knew it was important. I woke up at daybreak, went outside and listened to the song. As I did I felt a tingling start and my feet and course through my body. I felt warm. It continued until it shot through the top of my head. The whole time I was laughing and crying because I knew without a doubt I was truly connected to God. We were one. The song was John Michael Montgomery Life's a Dance. It tells how to live life and how we won't always know the answers. It was a life changing experience. Words cannot do it justice.

Me too. I asked for the truth and God sent me on an 18 year wonderful Journey which I feel is almost complete. I was led away from religiosity which was a shocker initially. Gnostic teachings makes so much obvious sense without the religiosity.

You have presented a very fundamental religious approach to the subject and of course you have a perfect right to do so. The proof however is in the experience. Thousands of years of praying and look at the condition of the earth, Maybe we should do what Jesus said, touch the single eye and listen. About science. Growing up we prayed morning, lunch, and end of day as well as stood for the national anthem. This was in a Catholic School in Ontario, Canada. Proclaiming to god and hailing to Mary… Felt more like programming than it did connection.

I’m so glad that lady came on at the end. Otherwise how he was teaching it sounded like meditation was this out of the world non-human moment. If he agrees that what she experienced is the result of meditation then I feel assured that I’m making “the “heavenly connection” because I’ve had those moments of insight by intuition. She showed what an answered “prayer” is and makes sense of what he was teaching. I know religion makes people feel things are so hard to do and only “special people” can achieve divine connection but sometimes non-religious teachings can feel the same. Her simple testimony made 45 minutes of teaching simplified and relatable.

I apologize for the delay. I have no problem with anyone who wants to sing or pray, but reason also should be a part of this. Our bodies are electrical instruments. They have to be operated properly if we are to be able to interact with what we call God. It must be done electrically. If you wish to absorb what you call spirit then your pineal electrons must vibrate or it wont happen. I can believe my computer will send messages if I dont touch it. But it wont. @@melissapradines5769man, I really like and respect Bill a lot but I couldn't figure it out either from his classes. The thing is you can only figure it out by doing. I started by praying and really bitching out loud to God or the universe or whatever, really just getting those thoughts in my head out there verbally hearing them with my ears instead of just in my head. Then I would get calmer after that release and light 2 tea candles, say a quick prayer of intention and set my phone timer for 15 minutes. During that time all kinds of bad or negative thoughts come up, sometimes just annoying or maybe I thought about cleaning the kitchen. The carnal egoic mind wants to be the center of attention and to think it's in control but for that 15 minutes every thought that comes up just said thank you or we will deal with that later. A few days at 15 minutes increase to 20 etc untill a week or a few weeks I was up to 30 minutes at a time. Sometimes my monkey brain would go crazy for 25 to 27 minutes but the last 3 minutes were bliss. Some days it was like being on cloud nine afterwards, sometimes it was like waking up from a nap, whatever the results are each time is the result do not attach too tightly to outcomes. This inspired me so much I spent more money that I felt comfortable with to get Dr. Joe Dispensas progressive and intensive course with guided meditations. It's in more modern terms with high level production value but you can start without all of that with just a timer and the willingness to do it, the learning will come.

Once I start my daily work, play, eating or whatever it seems that my mode of being goes back into default mode. Basically taking care of what’s before me and forgetting about holding on to the feeling. Are you aware of a method to keep the feeling indefinitely? Also what are the whereabouts of mr. Donahue nowadays?
@@ronniesaenz501 I think what you are saying is very normal. Dr Bruce Liption talks about when we are born we are a blank slate. From 0-7 years old we are in Theata brainwaves the same as a hypnotized person. That's why kids can learn so fast. The bad thing is we do not a BS detector at that age and everything we see and experience is believed and integrated deep within the mind for good or for bad. That programing plays out over and over again in our life automatically. Those beliefs inform everything in our lives subconsciously and we see the world through those lenses. It is a never ending job to become whom be beleive God created us to be, to fight that old programming and to be mindful and to catch ourselves when we fall off, and to do it gently giving ourselves grace. Jesus told his disciples to forgive some 7 times 70 times. I had a hard time forgiving myself for decades maybe its time to cut ourselves a little slack and just become mindful and get back on track when we fall off the path we want to be on.I don't know if Bill is still alive or not. These videos were recorded in the 90s and I'm greatful that through them him and his teachings will be around for as long as the youtube servers are up.
@ronniesaenz501 HI Ronnie, I made a long response to you last night, but it looks like TH-cam deleted it. I encourage you to give grace to yourself and just keep practicing. That's how we get good at things. Notice you fell off and just pick back up again, and when you "get there," you get there. If you have never heard Dr. Bruce Lipton, he talks a lot about our minds development and a thing called a honeymoon effect. Both are helpful concepts. I'm not sure if Bill is still in a body or his energy is now an angle of light, a proton flying through space ready for the next adventure, but I'm grateful for his teachings.
it was years for me. i didnt even realize what i was doing. without knowing what i was doing, feeling the way i was, i almost imploded from the inside out with depression and sorrow. i think about a lot of things, past things, present things and possible future things. i was so sad for myself and for others having to deal with lifes curveballs. then i came to my senses and realized its not our fault. id go into that rabbit hole but that would take a while lol. anyways, at some point during one of my deepthought lol sessions i realized there is a distinct emotion attached to each thought. some vastly different and others very similar. so over the years contemplating curveballs i started looking and paid attention to the specific emotion that was tied to that specific memory. over time it seems like a language was somehow given to the emotion. so now when i contemplate curveballs i take no thought literally except the unspoken feeling i have, which is now the language i use to understand my self reflection and of others. its how i later put into words the emotions i recieve during meditation. and thru all this i found profound self love. and only thru that realization was i able to truely love others before myself. i love all of us all the time even tho i may not be happy with us anytime.
Prayer is talking to God with your heart of gratitude. God is everywhere, not limited. The creator of all existent. We’re trying to figure out life, the beauty is everyone has there own opinions. What mind can truly understand and explain life if it doesn’t come from there own beliefs

I'll never forget when my pastors wife was asked about meditation. she said (I'm paraphrasing) "NEVER meditate, it opens your mind up to demons." To which, I wanted to ask her (but of course was chicken crap around these pharisees) 1.) How do you know? Have you seen devils during YOUR meditation? And 2.) Christ must not have done a good enough job then if I'm still susceptible to demon possession. True story...she's my grandma. If I can leave the religious cult, anyone can! lol
Someone told me last week that I was "a find" (as a neighbourhood pianoteacher) but that expression occurs to me now to apply to Bill Donahue. This is different, but it's so good! I think of Donahue's words as a kind of missing piece to my world jigsaw puzzle, the kind of piece that once it's in place lets you see what a huge section of the picture is about.
not2tees I feel the same way, one day I woke up with an extreme energy that I've never felt before. after that moment I started to question the essential church doctrines and search for what "the fall of mankind" really was along with all of the theories that I had been blinded to because of my family's belief systems. I figured that this was all a big puzzle that one has to step back from to see the bigger picture. I hope that we all find truth that will benefit us now and after our time in these bodies expire.
I feel the same way. These teachings are so relevant to today and no matter how much I wish I had found Bill Donahue years ago at least I have found him now. The lockdown was the very best thing that could have happened here because it gave me the desire to finally stop going to the fundamentalist church I have gone to all of my life. I admit I have had questions about things and whenever I was young I wound ask questions that the “adult leaders” would tell me had to be accepted by faith!! I also will admit that I felt guilt whenever I started breaking away but I also felt such an empowering spirit I had lacked. Meditation has helped me see things with my intuition which I have learned to trust as truth. Namaste 🙏.
This teaching of the real meaning of prayer has become a real eye-opener for me and my spiritual walk. My spouse is able to make use of her spiritual chakras and now after numerous years i understand and am now trying to activate my third eye. Keep being obedient to the Most High and educating others!

Understand that in meditation, whatever it is .... it is! and that is the result. When I paint, I mix red with blue and I always get violet. I could pray or meditate for green forever but the results of mixing red and blue are always violet. However, if I mix yellow and blue, I would get the green I wanted. So in order to get the color you want you have to mix the right colors to start. When you meditate, know what colors you start with and then accept the result you get.
God is the greatest because if you already loved him then without even realizing it you were still be doing what is right despite what we have been taught in church. What I mean is that I never thought that I was meditating and after this video I realized that I have been meditating all the while. It was through my own thoughts that I ask myself if I was doing the right thing. My talks with God were real in the way that I would say to God concerning prayer and other things that "God you said that every prayer will be answered but yet I can clearly see that this is not the case so you must be a liar. Oh Father please forgive me but I need the truth but I can't find it in your own words. I know that it must be something that I'm doing wrong because I know that you are real. Please forgive for my doubts but Lord surely if for some reason you won't answer my prayer then surely you would want to answer a prayer from me that asks you to take my free will for yourself and and do whatever you must with me to cause me to be WHAT YOU want me to be and NOT I. I prayed liked that for a long time and it angered me that it seem like that I was being ignored. Because of religion I was growing to hate God, and when I prayed to him it was like arguing with a brick wall. Yes I was speaking to God without respect because that's what I do when I'm being real. This video and all of your videos is helping me to learn how to get in touch with God. God is real and now my anger for him is gone. Thank you, and God Bless.

The truth, that is good, because When I look back on times that I made a strong memory since it was not the way I wanted it to be, I can see it turned out just as it should have. Meaning it was the best direction for me, even though at that time I did not see it that way. Meditation will keep one from fussing over those types of happenings. It is easy to take no thought when you are alone, but boy do the thoughts bounce when we are gathered together.

@28:35 minutes: How do we purify our emotions? Jesus said "take no thought". I say take no "negative thought". Instead replace your negative thoughts with instructions from Philippians 4:8:Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are lovely, of good report, any virtue, praiseworthy ...meditate on these things! This is what works for me!!! I love this. Also Proverbs 4:23 "Keep Your Heart "thoughts and Emotions" with all diligence, for out of it Spring the issues of life".
Here's the problem. No human being can stop taking negative thoughts because those thoughts come from the carnal mind which is part of human consciousness. What does Paul say about the carnal mind. Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be. There is the reason that negative thought will always be part of human consciousness. When you take no thought as Jesus instructed, you shut down the carnal mind. Of course only during meditation. But then you begin to receive higher thought from the Christ mind and after awhile you begin to equal and then overwhelm the carnal mind. You have presented a very fundamental religious approach to the subject and of course you have a perfect right to do so. The proof however is in the experience. Thousands of years of praying and look at the condition of the earth, Maybe we should do what Jesus said, touch the single eye and listen. About science. It provides information outside of scripture that says the same thing and allows for more confidence to be placed in scripture.

I’m so glad that lady came on at the end. Otherwise how he was teaching it sounded like meditation was this out of the world non-human moment. If he agrees that what she experienced is the result of meditation then I feel assured that I’m making “the “heavenly connection” because I’ve had those moments of insight by intuition. She showed what an answered “prayer” is and makes sense of what he was teaching. I know religion makes people feel things are so hard to do and only “special people” can achieve divine connection but sometimes non-religious teachings can feel the same. Her simple testimony made 45 minutes of teaching simplified and relatable.

They have to be operated properly if we are to be able to interact with what we call God. It must be done electrically. @@melissapradines5769man, I really like and respect Bill a lot but I couldn't figure it out either from his classes. The thing is you can only figure it out by doing. I started by praying and really bitching out loud to God or the universe or whatever, really just getting those thoughts in my head out there verbally hearing them with my ears instead of just in my head. Then I would get calmer after that release and light 2 tea candles, say a quick prayer of intention and set my phone timer for 15 minutes. During that time all kinds of bad or negative thoughts come up, sometimes just annoying or maybe I thought about cleaning the kitchen. The carnal egoic mind wants to be the center of attention and to think it's in control but for that 15 minutes every thought that comes up just said thank you or we will deal with that later. A few days at 15 minutes increase to 20 etc untill a week or a few weeks I was up to 30 minutes at a time. Sometimes my monkey brain would go crazy for 25 to 27 minutes but the last 3 minutes were bliss. Some days it was like being on cloud nine afterwards, sometimes it was like waking up from a nap, whatever the results are each time is the result do not attach too tightly to outcomes. This inspired me so much I spent more money that I felt comfortable with to get Dr. Joe Dispensas progressive and intensive course with guided meditations. It's in more modern terms with high level production value but you can start without all of that with just a timer and the willingness to do it, the learning will come.

Once I start my daily work, play, eating or whatever it seems that my mode of being goes back into default mode. Basically taking care of what’s before me and forgetting about holding on to the feeling. Are you aware of a method to keep the feeling indefinitely? Also what are the whereabouts of mr. Donahue nowadays?
@@ronniesaenz501 I think what you are saying is very normal. Dr Bruce Liption talks about when we are born we are a blank slate. From 0-7 years old we are in Theata brainwaves the same as a hypnotized person. That's why kids can learn so fast. The bad thing is we do not a BS detector at that age and everything we see and experience is believed and integrated deep within the mind for good or for bad. That programing plays out over and over again in our life automatically. Those beliefs inform everything in our lives subconsciously and we see the world through those lenses. It is a never ending job to become whom be beleive God created us to be, to fight that old programming and to be mindful and to catch ourselves when we fall off, and to do it gently giving ourselves grace. Jesus told his disciples to forgive some 7 times 70 times. I had a hard time forgiving myself for decades maybe its time to cut ourselves a little slack and just become mindful and get back on track when we fall off the path we want to be on.I don't know if Bill is still alive or not. These videos were recorded in the 90s and I'm greatful that through them him and his teachings will be around for as long as the youtube servers are up.
@ronniesaenz501 HI Ronnie, I made a long response to you last night, but it looks like TH-cam deleted it. I encourage you to give grace to yourself and just keep practicing. That's how we get good at things. Notice you fell off and just pick back up again, and when you "get there," you get there. If you have never heard Dr. Bruce Lipton, he talks a lot about our minds development and a thing called a honeymoon effect. Both are helpful concepts. I'm not sure if Bill is still in a body or his energy is now an angle of light, a proton flying through space ready for the next adventure, but I'm grateful for his teachings.

it was years for me. i didnt even realize what i was doing. without knowing what i was doing, feeling the way i was, i almost imploded from the inside out with depression and sorrow. i think about a lot of things, past things, present things and possible future things. i was so sad for myself and for others having to deal with lifes curveballs. then i came to my senses and realized its not our fault. id go into that rabbit hole but that would take a while lol. anyways, at some point during one of my deepthought lol sessions i realized there is a distinct emotion attached to each thought. some vastly different and others very similar. so over the years contemplating curveballs i started looking and paid attention to the specific emotion that was tied to that specific memory. over time it seems like a language was somehow given to the emotion. so now when i contemplate curveballs i take no thought literally except the unspoken feeling i have, which is now the language i use to understand my self reflection and of others. its how i later put into words the emotions i recieve during meditation. and thru all this i found profound self love. and only thru that realization was i able to truely love others before myself. i love all of us all the time even tho i may not be happy with us anytime.
Prayer is talking to God with your heart of gratitude. God is everywhere, not limited. The creator of all existent. We’re trying to figure out life, the beauty is everyone has there own opinions. What mind can truly understand and explain life if it doesn’t come from there own beliefs

Someone told me last week that I was "a find" (as a neighbourhood pianoteacher) but that expression occurs to me now to apply to Bill Donahue. This is different, but it's so good! I think of Donahue's words as a kind of missing piece to my world jigsaw puzzle, the kind of piece that once it's in place lets you see what a huge section of the picture is about.
not2tees I feel the same way, one day I woke up with an extreme energy that I've never felt before. after that moment I started to question the essential church doctrines and search for what "the fall of mankind" really was along with all of the theories that I had been blinded to because of my family's belief systems. I figured that this was all a big puzzle that one has to step back from to see the bigger picture. I hope that we all find truth that will benefit us now and after our time in these bodies expire.
I feel the same way. These teachings are so relevant to today and no matter how much I wish I had found Bill Donahue years ago at least I have found him now. The lockdown was the very best thing that could have happened here because it gave me the desire to finally stop going to the fundamentalist church I have gone to all of my life. I admit I have had questions about things and whenever I was young I wound ask questions that the “adult leaders” would tell me had to be accepted by faith!! I also will admit that I felt guilt whenever I started breaking away but I also felt such an empowering spirit I had lacked. Meditation has helped me see things with my intuition which I have learned to trust as truth. Namaste 🙏.

The kingdom of God is within you
Understand that in meditation, whatever it is .... it is! and that is the result. When I paint, I mix red with blue and I always get violet. I could pray or meditate for green forever but the results of mixing red and blue are always violet. However, if I mix yellow and blue, I would get the green I wanted. So in order to get the color you want you have to mix the right colors to start. When you meditate, know what colors you start with and then accept the result you get.

God is the greatest because if you already loved him then without even realizing it you were still be doing what is right despite what we have been taught in church. What I mean is that I never thought that I was meditating and after this video I realized that I have been meditating all the while. It was through my own thoughts that I ask myself if I was doing the right thing. My talks with God were real in the way that I would say to God concerning prayer and other things that "God you said that every prayer will be answered but yet I can clearly see that this is not the case so you must be a liar. Oh Father please forgive me but I need the truth but I can't find it in your own words. I know that it must be something that I'm doing wrong because I know that you are real. Please forgive for my doubts but Lord surely if for some reason you won't answer my prayer then surely you would want to answer a prayer from me that asks you to take my free will for yourself and and do whatever you must with me to cause me to be WHAT YOU want me to be and NOT I. I prayed liked that for a long time and it angered me that it seem like that I was being ignored. Because of religion I was growing to hate God, and when I prayed to him it was like arguing with a brick wall. Yes I was speaking to God without respect because that's what I do when I'm being real. This video and all of your videos is helping me to learn how to get in touch with God. God is real and now my anger for him is gone. Thank you, and God Bless.

Thanks Bill, the truth has made me free. Scriptural authenticity, religious differences, and atheistic beliefs are all dissolve by being still and knowing.
The truth, that is good, because When I look back on times that I made a strong memory since it was not the way I wanted it to be, I can see it turned out just as it should have. Meaning it was the best direction for me, even though at that time I did not see it that way. Meditation will keep one from fussing over those types of happenings.
It is easy to take no thought when you are alone, but boy do the thoughts bounce when we are gathered together.
Prayer and meditation are like a tv set prayer is turning the set on meditation is tuning it in.

Instead replace your negative thoughts with instructions from Philippians 4:8:Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are lovely, of good report, any virtue, praiseworthy ...meditate on these things! This is what works for me!!! I love this.
Also Proverbs 4:23 "Keep Your Heart "thoughts and Emotions" with all diligence, for out of it Spring the issues of life".
Here's the problem.
No human being can stop taking negative thoughts because those thoughts come from the carnal mind which is part of human consciousness.
What does Paul say about the carnal mind.
Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be.
There is the reason that negative thought will always be part of human consciousness.
When you take no thought as Jesus instructed, you shut down the carnal mind. Of course only during meditation.
But then you begin to receive higher thought from the Christ mind and after awhile you begin to equal and then overwhelm the carnal mind.
That is why it is so important to go within yourself in meditation and take no thought of any kind. Complete nothingness brings the light.
