Fast color switching of several colors at the right frequency will fool slow human eyes into seeing a different color. When I first came up with this idea in 1993, Terminal Storm thought that I had finally lost my shit, and I was just 20 years ahead of my time... now if only I could be that much ahead as far as market trading...

@@PontusBerg it was just a "crazy" idea I had back then, but since it was considered too crazy, no code was ever written, and I had already sold my C=128D to finally get my first Amiga 500. Other groups have since produced pictures on the C=64 in 128 colors, that's been a thing going back last 10 - 15 years or so. Don't all the new demos sport "IFLI", I think it's called, and it's 128 colors through such precise color flipping and timing? I've lost track of all the "FLI" formats they have nowadays...
