I remember staying up all night when I was in middle school watching MTV with shows like bully beatdown and hard times of rj burger and they'd show rock and metal music videos and this was one that would frequently play. It'd play like 3 or 4 times a night for days on end and finally I got a pen and paper and wrote down the band and the song and that's when I first got into this band.
Usually I don't listen to metalcore or pop punk records that sound similar to Blink 182, but this song is really good and certainly surprised my musical tastebuds, when I saw this on Scuzz TV.
The message is still there, maybe even more so now that they are out of high school. There are assholes everywhere, not just high school. It's just that most people who have problems with bullies are in high school so it resonates better.
