Does the FireStick bypass the need for a tablet, as in, is the power base connected directly to the FireStick with Magic running directly on the Stick? I'm looking for the workaround for having to purchase an older device like an ipad, or I suppose one of the newer kindles that seem to work. I've tried my Galaxy S7 and my Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (windows 10) where Magic launches and seems to work fine, but I can't establish a connection to the power base. And I don't have the knowledge or experience yet to try and custom build something from an arduino or a Raspberry Pi 3.
That's great, how does magic arc get on the fire stick? Do you have to download an app to fire stick? Sorry for the silly question but I have the fire stick already. Just need to get me that keyboard from somewhere here in the UK. Is there a name on it. Thank You.
Do you have to.download?

Completely bypasses the need for a tablet. Just add a BT mini keyboard with a TouchPad and you're all set.
