Don't worry, the 'upskirt' shots are not of their underwear. They all wear safety shorts and things of that nature. Nothing lewd. Their teaser trailers are all standalone also, and have a rap from Giselle and a song called Run from NingNing. The teasers are titled SYNK Giselle, Ningning, Winter, Karina. The Karina teaser also has a short Black Mamba remix.
their name, aespa, is a combination of the letter æ (which in this case means "avatar x experience") and the word "aspect", and if I'm not mistaken the name as a whole is supposed to mean being able to experience a new world through a virtual version of yourself, which is what their concept is based on. there are four members: karina (the one whose eyes went black and who had that dark vision with the snake queen lady), giselle (the one who was singing with the people in the pink ski masks), winter (the one who was in the school setting and in front of the long mirror), and ningning (the techy one working with the computer). the avatars that were in the video are the virtual versions of the girls (you should watch their SYNK videos if you want to see more of them with their avatars). their concept is based on the idea that there are two worlds: our world and a virtual world called KWANGYA, where the avatars live. KWANGYA exists independently from our world, but there are virtual counterparts to real-world people (kind of like interdimensional soulmates). through an application called SYNK, the aespa girls are able to communicate with their avatars. their fandom name is MY which is the KWANGYA word for "the most precious friend". this is everything I know about them, I don't know if there's more information out there but I hope this helped
oh and also, that's boa at the end of the video. sm has started doing this sm universe thing where all of their artists' worlds are connected so they'll tease comebacks for one artist in the mv of another artist. for example, aespa's debut was teased at the end of superm's one mv. just thought you should know
as a Scandinavian I think it's funny that they use they the letter æ, pronounced correctly and all. I'm here for it. the concept, loves it, a proud big brother nctzen. The thing with black mamba queen or whatever she is was so powerful damn.

I really have high hopes for this group, being Red Velvet little sisters they have very big shoes to fill.
The black creature at the end I believe is the materialization of negativity and hate on-line, taking human shape and trying to break the connection between the AESPA members and their on-line personas (avatars)
Maybe I'm overreacting but that's what it looks to me.

aespa stands for “Avatar X Experience” and “aspect”
The group makes their debut alongside their own “ae” avatars, a concept serving as the label’s first project in its SMCU (SM CULTURE UNIVERSE) vision for the future of entertainment, aespa will project a future world centered on celebrities and avatars, and will be born into a group of completely new and innovative concepts that transcend the boundaries between the real world and the virtual world
The story behind the MV is the æ-versions of members and the normal versions of members connect via SYNK, which got destroyed by the black mamba. The black mamba can be thought of like a computer virus. The plot may be about trying to defeat the black mamba and fix the SYNK.
SM doing SMCU so they want to giving a hint for their new project, like aespa debut appear in NCT U - Make a Wish at the end video. So the woman in the last part is BoA, one of sm's greatest soloists which will comeback soon.
There is a lot of new word from aespa concept.
SYNK : the connection between the members and their avatars (an app)
REKALL : the time the members spend with their avatars
FLAT : the place where the members could co-exist with their avatars
NAVIS : the guide/system that connects the girls and avatars
KWANGYA : the place where avatars live
BLACK MAMBA : the virus or villain that disconnect the connection between members and avatars

Story of adventures unrolled upon the realization that 'Black Mamba’ is a threatening existent to the world and a hindrance to the connection of aespa & 'ae', their avatars.
You can see in the MV, Karina got the messaage from Black Mamba in her phone and suddenly the train full of flower, black mamba (snake) came to their world and then karina's eyes change and suddenly move to another scene, I think she is the one who get targeted and get influenced. And after that scene the scene look so dark. And then ae-Karina seems so sad looking to karina but Karina seems so plain and ae-Winter dissappear in the mirror.
Black Mamba like a virus too here.
And then finally they fight back.
The one at the end, maybe ae-Black Mamba, new member in the future, or someone who will be important role in the next comeback. We dont know.
There is ae with black short hair but we dont know whose. She appear in MY KARINA and their teaser photo, she is on TV. Hmmm.
At the end of video there is someone with Red Dress, She is BoA. Thats a hint for her future comeback. SM did it too for aespa debut at the end MV of NCT U Make a Wish and SuperM One.

I have a theory about the endingof the mv, at one teaser it was kinda revealed that they have like an avatar guide called navis and navis helps them to connect to their virtual world or something like that (sorry i don't speak english very well so it's confusing to explain) navis' hair is really similar to the hair of that dark figure, so maybe black mamba corrupted her or she was created to be a villain and then they will restore her idk...
