This is the maxed-out version of the Scythe in Cold War zombies. It has some features that make it able to do more damage per second than any other melee weapon in Cold War Zombies. Doing more than the SAI and the ETOOl comes at a massive cost. Is the fully pack-a-punched version of the Scythe worth using in Cold War Zombies year 2? Wish they gave more MELEE weapons more special abilitys like this to help them stand out. So many melee weapons in this game just feel like copyies. Even know the scythe is not going isn't that great I love the fact that they gave it so much more power than all the other melee weapons!

Scythe has INSANE Damage
I feel that you aren’t giving the others enough credit… except for the sledgehammer, I’d like to think Treyarch made that as a direct reference to how shit the company is.
The axe can kill multiple zombies but not as much as the scythe

@@mr5inchpunishment_ That is by far the stupidest thing i have ever heard. Also, we have seen something like this before, you just have to call back to 1 black ops game ago, not that long, where a Katana killed multiple enemies
My only complaint would be the hit registration, seems like every other swing I’m hitting zombies but the scythe completely misses the kill

@@theredphoenix33 never been a problem for me and I have dark aether for all meelee weapons and the scythe has just horrendous Hit registration

Ngl the forsaken camos are so clean on the scythe, didnt see the regular ones yet but im reallyyy excited to see the green one (DA and golden viper also looks so sick!) The gameplay is so much fun they did a insane job on this.
Honestly I think the Scythe might be better for PvP. Me and my partner ran around working on getting it to gold and I managed to get a 4x in one swing around a corner. Kinda niche but it can be pretty funny.
Pair this with toxic growth in a doorway camp spot and they would stack up similar to a decoy

I could be wrong and it might be just round progression but when I packed it I felt like I was getting more double kills.
Try the laughing gas vent next to first gen on fire base z. You can get up to 8 kills at once.

It's fun on Zombies. Horrible on MP because it's very inconsistent. A lot of times you think you will hit and miss the enemy by some reason and the guy kills you. Some other melee weapons had this same problem very inaccurate.
Tbh its the opposite for me for mo i hit every single person easily. Zombies the zombie will be in my face and ill watch the scythe swing on it with 0 damage while other times ill knife lunge further then any other melee
Imagine if all melee weapons had a special feature
Knife would have nothing, it’s the base weapon
SledgeHammer would make your controller vibrate more on melee hit than other weapons
Cane would cause one normal zombie every round above 10 to wear a top hat
scythe would have a sweeping attack, allowing you to hit 2 zombies at once for half damage
Baseball bat has a 1% chance of launching a zombies corpse if they die in one hit
Wakizashi and machete has a chance to decapitate zombies if they die in one hit
Axe can cleave zombies in half
Hammer and sickle have a small chance to make a zombie say comrade before dying
The ones with features already would have what they already have.

why did he not address the fact that the scythe a lot of times just wont hit the hitbox
when I got it gold I downed multiple times because it just wouldn't kill them when you're cornered
it is also very janky and sometimes just won't register

I suck at using melee weapons, but this one, oh, this one is amazing! I've been trying to unlock the battle axe and hammer and sickle and I'm already almost done unlocking those! And yes, I took my time unlocking the Scythe, especially since I can't really afford to buy the bundle lol also, do you have any tricks to get the 20 consecutive kills without getting hit if I'm not good at playing by myself and play with randoms? Lol
For the 20 consecutive kills I recommend going on firebase z and just sitting on top of the box on the right right after you enter the teleporter
@@isiticy8575 Oh yes! That actually sounds like the perfect idea! I found out after I commented this, that I had most of the camos done! I just need 2 more! I didn't realize you didn't need to do it that many times! So this'll be a piece of cake!
For 20 consecutive Lila’s you can equip the zombie burst mod on your gun and get a good number of zombies on a train and the mod will blow up multiple zombies counting towards the consecutive kills

Heres the thing I unlocked it last night played a match with it and man. I was getting no dmg registering half the time swiping at a train of zombies more often then not idk why maybe it's because I was using the trigger to meelee instead of stick idk

I got like 50 kills towards this weapons challenge in zombies to unlock it, I got bored. The RNG of an instakill dropping seems to be nerfed while they released this weapon
It's so much easier getting it on onslaught containment cause you only get like 3 power ups, insta-kill, full power, and max ammo.

3 games of onslaught containment going to rd 13 or so. Only 30mins to unlock. Average about 70 insta kills per game.
This thing is good on outbreak combine it with the shotgun I'm already on round five and this thing's doing okay for me I like using it so far

You can't use any DLC melee weapons as showcase :(
I think the SAI its faster in movement than the E-Tool
The SAIs can be faster if you slide jump perfectly. However this only works before you get staminaup. Once you have staminaup the Etool is always faster than the SAIs with or without slide jumping

The sai is only faster then the etool when using slide jumping. However once you have staminaup the Etool is faster than the etool even with jumping.

Scythe is the most powerful but not even close to being the best. Etool and SAIs are the most useful

Actually the Scythe has no kills per swing cap. it's possible to get 7 kills per swing which i had several times while training zombies at round 20+...
You have any footage of this? I spent a good chunk of time testing this and the max I was getting with 5. How did you go about using the scythe to get the 7+? If it can do 7 at a time that is amazing!

edit: It was because I tagged some other zombies so my teammates killed them at the same time and it popped up as killing 7 zobies
