This is awesome guys! Thank you! Şebnem Ferah is one of Turkey's rock legend. MaNga actually and saddly didn't won that year in Eurovision they were 2nd :) But they're big in Turkey. For Ben Fero Demet Akalın is another turkish singer she's also quiet famous. Rock in Turkey is special you guys should look into Anatolian rock and all. I really love the way you two go so openly into the songs it's refreshing. And Cem ... what to say he's amazing, he's out of this world and this song is one of my favourites. So thank you for all you hard work and taking the time to discover world's music.
Normally i don't like reaction vids and i don't watch them because they usually listens the music and giving people some mimics or gestures but i don't find them sincere or honest actually. Generally Turkish style of traditional music is influenced by oriental (Middle Estern and North African Arabic tones), Balkan (all but esp Greek) and Mediterranean (Spain, Italy), combined with authentic Turkish folk music. Reagae is like some imported spice used by some talented musicians ie Ezhel to get a tasty experimantal sound. Not so much common, it suits well if it's done right..

My favorite is Cem Adriaan indeed he’s an unique talent, performer, singing from his heart and indeed a music painter. When he sings I believe every word and he touches one’s soul. Again a proof that music is universal and the most important is if it touches your heart and soul❤️thank you both. Turkish music is diverse and influenced from different cultures in one country. There are a lot of types of Turkish folklore.Arabesk is Turkish folk music genre, we also have Turkish classical music, and also Sufi folk music. Like Kazachstan has the dombra as national music instrument we have in Turkey Saz. This folk music in combination with Saz is coming from the experiences the people had and felt and the lyrics of the songs are mostly sad, deep or happy. A full of emotion, cries (we called it uzun hava). The pop, rock, hip hop, reggaetone came later. By the way you pronounce Cem (is Jem) and not with S.

You guys have to react other stuff from Şebnem Ferah pleasseee! You’ve chosen the slowest song from that concert :) She’s already a rock queen! She doesn’t do arabic influenced stuff at all and she’s a soprano with a great strong voice, belting technique! Check out her other songs from 2007 Istanbul concert, you’d be so surprised with her screams, growls and high notes!! From the concert; Delgeç, Vazgeçtim Dünyadan, Okyanus, Can Kırıkları are the ones with the best screams and high notes 🎃 Her vocal control is amazing!

I wish you listened to Fırtına or Can Kırıkları by Şebnem Ferah from the same concert. Sil Baştan is nice song but it's actually not the real fashion of Şebnem. After all, she is the queen of Turkish rock.
