Oh, I didn't know this had the sewn binding. That makes it all the more appealing. Big hardcover books tend to split open after a while, even if you're very careful with them.

I was looking into our local Presbyterian church wondering why there is no real Bible interaction in the service and other things that were disturbing. It was then, after some study that I realized there is a difference between Presbyterian churches. I think it's important for people to know the difference. Also do you know if the CREC is part of the Presbyterian church ? (Communion of Reformed Evangelical churches). Thank you Pastor.

PCUSA is mainline liberal. The OPC broke off from the old PCUSA in the 1920s. The PCA was formed out of conservative churches leaving the southern PCUS in the early 70s. OPC, PCA, ARP, RPCNA, all hold to the Westminster Standards as their doctrinal beliefs. The EPC does as well with a few nuances. The CREC's main distinctive is paedo communion and often post millenialism.
How's the font size on that hand size ESV study Bible??.. I really appreciate your Bible and book reviews, they have helped me out quite a bit in the beginning of my Bible collection experience..God Bless you and your family.

I have recently gotten into more premium bibles, and now look for sewn bindings even with hardcover bibles. It makes it so they can be rebound later.

It's really quite good. I don't have the specs but it looks like an 11 or so. Very readable.
