God’s Word guides us along the will of God and in the way we should conduct ourselves.
    Great study here!

I love that you have pointed out that modesty is not really about the clothes but about the character! It's the heart that the Lord is looking at, as well as our intentions in doing good works --- we do good works and we live the Christian life because we love like Jesus and we know that Jesus loves all of us 💖

The standard set by God for us is so high but sometimes we can live out the standards we have set for ourselves and believe we are living a holy life. I need to be more intentional about my conduct. Thank you for this word! Yes it has encouraged and challenged me today.

Good point about stopping to take notice when you see “This is the will of God”. Reading scripture helps us know God’s will. He doesn’t keep His will a secret.

That’s right, so true. Make things pretty clear.. we just want more detail, so then we’re to trust him.

I agree with you that we should live always for the audience that is God! There are too many that live fake lives in front of people because the people are the audience. What others see should be what God sees us as. ❤

So true. It MATTERS the WAY we live… not PORTRAY to live

Right. Guarding our heart means we allow the Holy Spirit to examine and show us our actions that is not aligned to the heart of God.
I think this is the first time I got to know the purpose behind the name of your channel. ThePULSE. Very nice! 😊

A good way to put it, Don't ask if it is OK to do, ask if it is Holy, that is what we are called to be.

These are important messages that you are covering. It's hard to find Truth in this immoral
World. We must look at our conduct and realize that the world is watching, we must live for Christ! He died for me. I will live for Him.

Great point about modesty having more to do with how you spend your money rather than what you wear.

Amen. We need to really focus on our walk as a church. This seems to be the overarching issue in the modern church. For the most part, it seems as if God is not considered. God bless you.

    • @thePULSE87
      @thePULSE87  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

That’s so good.. the church, meant to represent God here on earth, often loses sight and gets distracted from doing exactly that..

I really enjoyed this message on conduct. I agree with you. It's part of being set apart, but I don't hear that talked about much. Needs to be talked about more.

People cannot see into our hearts and minds, and thus have no idea what our true motives are, so they judge us by our actions/deeds/conduct. If we align our hearts and minds to HIs will, we will become people who love both Him and our fellow man. This will be reflected in how we treat others. But if we are treating others well, but have trouble with the way we talk (whether it's letting the occasional cussword slip, or we quite often tell lies), then people will see this and question whether we are doing good for God's glory, to help others, or for what we can get out of it. This is just one way in which the way we conduct our lives is important. We really do need to be careful in everything we do and say, as Christians. This is especially true for those in the ministry, but it's important for all of us.

To be born again is to change from our former lives and live according to the way of the Cross. Like Deitrich Bonhoeffer said, "When Christ calls a man, he bids him come and die."

Amen that’s right! I’ve heard that quote before, so true

Lust, especially sexual lust, can be such a minefield for every believer (especially for us males), it is letting natural desires (that have a good an holy purpose, in marriage) take control of our thoughts and minds in an impure manner. Lustful thoughts often lead to lustful actions. God says sex is reserved for the marriage bed, so sex outside of marriage is sin. God says if you lust after someone sexually in your heart and mind, you have committed the sin of adultery in you heart. Unrepentant sexual sin, like all other unrepented sin, comes between us and God and keeps us from hearing Him speak to our hearts. We truly do need to try and live pure lives in all aspects, but yes, sexual sin is such a minefield that is one of the easiest traps for us to fall into.

Amen bro, that’s right.. these are such overlooked and excused areas to target, and distract us from a relentless pursuit of holiness
