As amazing as it is to watch these concrete I-beams being hauled it is just as amazing to see how they are built and the engineering that goes into making certain they do not break.
I haul bridge girders for a living! I love it. Just got three 13 axle trail king trailers. 1st load is March 16th. 206,000 186ft long. Total weight 289,000 total length 221ft long
Nice👌🏻
How much do you get paid
Exodus a good year 150k, a average year 80
Looked like one of these trucks had a standard step deck?
jdawgshomestead ya I’ve never seen a step deck used before. Looked Oakie as hell. They Just slap a turntable and went for it😂
“Back in the day” I remember watching my dad haul a few of these. The equipment was so primitive, it had a steering wheel on the back dolly and a guy would walk behind the beam steering it. When I got older and hauled a few, it was hydraulic steering. Nice to see remote steering!
It's amazing what these men and women can do,I'm very proud to say my dad was a trucker as well as my brother and of course me.Would I do that idk I'm used to shorter trailers lol..I love the trucker life and I'm proud to have been a part of that,I have all the respect in the world for all truckers, thank you for what you do....
Damn, that’s next level heavy hauling
Driver sitting perpendicular at a police car blocking the traffic: "How long will this take?"
* A minute later *: "OH COME ON! THERE'S STILL MORE?!"
Lol
Lol
I know the feeling. I was in that traffic lol
Watching this go by while you’re late for work would be like watching Spaceballls opening scene...it just keeps going, and going, and going...
Imagine if your late for work, and you see this (1:02) in the way
Top video. Love the quality video camera, drone and GoPro work. Sure beats shaky iPhone videos in vertical which you see so often lol.
Can’t wait til I start doin’ hauls like this. About to start training to get my CDL, and hopefully one day, I can do jobs like this. Can’t wait to wake up everyday and be in my cab and tell myself, “I love what I do”
Chris, your video footage for this piece is amazing! Your content is getting better with every video you publish. We salute the hard working truckers and specialized transporters that keep this awesome nation running.
I’ve only ever saw these once in Minnesota and it is stunning to be able to see this in person, on how such a truck can’t carry such a big load and maneuver through traffic.
Piece of cake. Those things practically drive themselves! 😉
Wow this is amazing I have never seen a truck like this wow awesome awesome awesome nice.🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🔥🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍
"Oh crap........was that the turn?"

I've had a pilot car miss an exit. Nothing like this, but was interesting having to back up around a bend between the white line and the grass.
Gettin' good with that drone brother!!
Killer edit

Well, It's a good video even though the editor seems to cut out the most exciting parts of it. Hoping for a nonedited version. Kind regards, from a former H-Hauler

Thats so bad ass.
I’ve always seen Buchanan steel haulers out of Rockport IN. Didn’t know they did oversize hauling like that. They have a lot of strange looking trailers for sure.

Amazing trucking skills. Could you explain how the rear wheel assembly works?
I am a pilot car driver but have never chased a load this large before.
these guys rebuilt my bridge in Bliss Idaho
Happy ATS driving! LOL!

Like the old truckin' song says ;

Are those for overpass construction?
Are the rear steerable units on this consist remote controlled from the cab or pickup truck?
So how is the counter steer on the rear dollies being controlled?

He: Hold my beer...
Like the Buchanan of Fort Wayne, IND ?
Yes
I have this mod in ets 2
Done came to Tampa I see, good video
The setup was so unnecessarily long, I've done 120' beams with a bunk on the 5th wheel of a 4 axle truck, and a 4 axle steer dolly. Goes through town so much better
Wow let's rolling lol
