Thank you for the tutorial. What is the maximum length the water level sensor cable can be extended? I plan to use the KC868-A4 + water level sensor for monitoring and controlling the water level/flow in the overhead water tank.
water level sensor MAX connect with 4 pcs, the sensor MAX can be customized make for 0-20 meter

two sensors use by 0-5v water level sensor, another two sensors use by 4-20mA is ok.@@user-so5uo1xx5t
Can you inform what is the P/N or the values of the magnetic inductor you have in the Analogue inputs?
it according to your sensor, whether sensor is supported, the pcb board just use analog input dc 0-5v
can we just use ESP32 NodeMCU instead of KC868-A4 for this sensor?
there is analog input circuit on our A4 board.

May I know possible it can defect other medium ? like mixture oil and water ?
yes, sensor have different type for different medium, such as oil.
One problem I have with liquid sensors based on hydrostatic pressure is an unstable reading. The reading always jumps between high and low values regarding its accuracy. For a low level of water (e.g. under 1 meter), this can be a big measurement error. An ultrasonic sensor can give a more stable reading, but I believe it has weaknesses in waterproofing. Or you can suggest another type of sensor with a stable reading and good durability?

@@KinConyNo, I don't. But from this video at 5:16 i know that the sensor reading was unstable. Right before you added the water, the reading in the serial monitor (left) was fluctuated, wasn't it?
If wire distance is longer up to 500 feet can we use 0-5v sensor or should I use RS485 instead of 0-5v please???
if long distance, you can use 4-20mA sensor, A4 have 2 channel 4-20mA analog input ports.
@@KinCony Will the current value returning to ADC pin will not change after passage of time? because wire resistance will change with time. For example if sensor current at certain water level is 10mA it could reduce to 8mA or 7mA after 3 to 4 year of usage in that case water level is not accurate this is what I think. What you think about it please, because I have not used this sensor yet and confused which one is better specially when tank is far away like on tall buildings when wire length is more than 500 feet.
Is it ok to use 4-20mA sensor in that case you are saying???
@@MuhammadIrfan-rg8ty 4-20mA sensor use 1000 meter also is no problem. sensor input signal can be calibrated in your MCU.
i cane to use I can use 4-20mA linear pressure sensor on the analog input but the sensor is powered at 24v dc
that is your sensor work voltage, if sensor current is 4-20mA, no problem

that is another model of level sensor.
Can I use it with a RS485 sensor or what so I need ?
you need chose our A series board have RS485 interface, then write arduino code for modbus protocol

@@KinCony Thats ok its for tank level I already have but they can talk to Victron Cerbo and I get the data another way. I can find 0-20mA for another project, are these suitable/accurate?. Like to say I've been going around in circles looking at home automation stuff for weeks with no clear direction until I found your products. Congratulations on some great equipment. I have in mind Server16, AIO and E16v2. Will order in the next few weeks. I have a mix of 12v and 240v in motorhome I am building. Also need many I/O to run solenoids, pumps, and level monitors for filtered recycling shower project I am working on for the motorhome
