- Sara is in law school, so she moved back in with my parents to save money. During the week Sara works and go to school, during any free time is spent studying. On the weekends Sara ready to get out of the house and go have some fun. Sara's mom gets mad and says she don't spend enough time with her and she's just using her house as a “hotel."
How can Sara compromise with her mom so that she doesn't feel left out?
“Be quiet, lady” 😂😂😂😂😂 I was done at that moment omg
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was deceased at that point 🤣🤣🤣
Where is your man 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
"You ain't my mama who you hollerin at!!! " 😂😂😂😂😂
My lungs😂😂😂
Steve is trouble 😂😂
I like how the daughter avoided saying that her mom was boring.
Momzilla might be her ride home?
lilaznbltz
Tru tru
Nathaniel Bostick She is in Law school. She now knows how not to incriminate herself with her words.
The reason her mom became boring is bc her daughter didnt maintain the relationship with her so now she aint got nothing to talk about with her. Distance builds bridges.
@@chillout1109 Well said!
"Hey Frank, what's going on?"
"SHUT UP, IT'S QUIET!"
This part killed me with laughter🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Dark Monk agreed!🤣🤣
almost fell off the chair laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣
23? She looks 15. Hey Frank, what do you think?
Shut up, it's quiet!
Michael Wolfe ROFL! That comment he made made me spit my coffee out laughing!! Poor Frank!
Michael Wolfe so funny this segment
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Michael Wolfe yap she looks so young like 15. Pretty sweet girl with a head on her shoulders
Michael Wolfe 1
Steve is right, as a mother of four, my time to create valued traditions was during those 18 years. I love that my children organize family dinners/outings/bdays and such on their own and invite me. Hearing my daughter tell me I am her best friend and she cherishes our relationship was everything I hoped for and way more than I ever expected. That is priceless. Let the good people (you raised) be who they were meant to be. Being a mother of adult children is only a title. Having great connections and honoring our adult relationships is a gift. It is a different joy than when they were babies and depended on me. Now I get to be there as they walk their sacred path and serve as their advisor. IF and ONLY IF they call on me.
Very well said.
I do not agree, with due respect. I am not a mother, I have a mother, so i am coming from a different point of view. A mother deserves companionship of her children. And from the moment the child becomes able, it is not a choice but an absolute moral obligation that s/he starts caring for the mother, in whichever way she needs. A mother should be a priority in life in any case, not an extra curricular activity. A mother doesn't have to be the best friend! Being a mother having taken care of her children through the period of infancy and childhood is enough for her to be deserving of that. I know western societies have a lot of leniency to that regard, but coming from an Islamic background I can tell you that this is the absolute foundation of a family for us, our mothers are our queens! Forever!
@@Afif.anNayem.asSalafi i think your comment doesn't do justice to kids from all backgrounds. Some are raised in harsh and toxic conditions from their parents, and therefore they seek to just get out as soon as they hit adulthood. Relationships are formed, not forced. If she was a good mother to her children, no doubt she will receive love and care from the kids in later years
This is beautiful and how it should be. You sound like a great mom!!
@@Afif.anNayem.asSalafi you just admitted that you’re not a mother; therefore, you’re response to the original comment is way off.
the face on mommy dearest when she says 'that's fiiine' 😂😄😂😄 priceless 😄😄😄
mommy dearest... lol
Its like a preset face for all mums
She went full childish mode after she was told she was wrong.
When mom say "Thats fiine" know that you just screwed up.
Linda Jeanette the face on Steve’s face was better
Steve constantly saying *IT'S TOO LATE* in the manner of whiny kids is pure GOLD 😂

you can tell this mom is the sweetest. totally devoted to her kids and it is so hard for her to let go. a great mom for sure, great daughter too
JM Cast she’s crazy and lonely and is trying to drag her daughter down with her
I agree... sweet little mama.
@@dannydevito5859 You must have wonderful parents
Mom needs to get a life. She seems a bit absorbed in her daughter's life. She may be trying to live vicariously through her daughter.
JM Cast clingy is what she is...lol
I laughed so hard when they were going back and forth and Steve said "Be quiet lady!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Omg, she would drive me crazy! And Steve is absolutely right! Do not try to start traditions when your kids are adults, traditions are started when you kids are children, that's why they are traditions, you start them when your kids don't have schedules so they know when they do have a life they can build it around that tradition. Now you miss your daughter and want her to spend more time with you? It's too late!
+Brittny Cotton what ever girl call your mom right now
Cassandra badie we have traditions.
good glad to hear it. we moms went thru a lot now that your interesting your gone... I get it my daughter is in vegas haven't seen her in 17 months
Cassandra badie I'm about to give birth to my first.. Even when I was across the country I called my parents each day, and now that I'm back we've continued these traditions, my parents started them when we were little so we built our schedules around them
all so happy for you. hey you hear about the free hug movements, this is a great guy doing wonderful work . enjoy that baby
traditions are instilled when kids are small so that when they grow up they can build on them. that being said when he said lady be quiet, that whole segment had me in tears 🤣🤣🤣
who u hollering at lady
im weak 😂😂😂😂😂😂
what does hollering means?
+Steve Youngman
yelling at he means who you yelling at
+Enasha Davis never heard that word.. Thank you anyway
BSMZ how bout not english
Steve Youngman are you black? 😂
When he said be quiet lady I spit my coffee out hahahahaha she’s such a sweet accomplished young girl! Let her live mama! You obviously raised her to be amazing! Let her fly now!
all she asked for is one meal, once a week.
both mam and her daughter are soo soo adorable
Lovely family.
@@mahendramanhar785 illi hai bhai ko?
She has a great mom that want to spend time with her .only if most families were like that this world would be a better place.
I understand daughter needed space but always cherish your mother cause I would do anything to see my mom again😞😞

Chan Hutapea my face was hurting I was laughing so hard! 😂
I totally feel the same ! This was epic !🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Spending time with your mom worth the whole world. She is the only creature that really cares about you and loves you
Speaking as a mother of 2 grown children, I can relate to her mother. I can also remember how it feels to be 23 and can relate to the daughter. ...tough situation...good solution. Kudos, Steve.
My oldest is 7. I hope I never relate to the mother in this situation.
+Elle Plow Plow child you will its coming
+Elle Plow Plow also a mistake I made teach your children how to take care of you sometimes
Cassandra badie see that's what I think the problem is. moms who don't have lives outside of their kids.
Elle Plow Plow well how can they when they have to take care of the kids and the father pays rent and child support. But dont worry you young lads will get to know and have strong conne with his mother soon enough. Cause trust me no better education is better then staying home with your family cause anything can happen it just takes time.
He had me at: "Ain't no traditions. She gooone!"😂😂😂
Hey Frank?... Shut up! It's quiet! hahaha
+Business Go TV I know! Love it! loool
Business Go TV I died when he said that
Where?

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It is hard if you know you have a lonely parent, it’s on all kid’s minds if they are lonely so bless this young lady for caring enough to ask the question ❤
The child is in law school! Give her a break! She would do better living away from her parents, but since she is at home, mom has got to give her daughter room to study, work, and let off stress. Law school is no joke and extremely stressful. Mom, give your child some breathing room! She'll come back around after she passes the bar exam.
Salsadivva OH
Better move out
She can help clean around the house though and spend time with her momma
@@luluwu574 law school, a job, spending time with mother, AND rent? You tryna kill this pretty girl with stress. Yes, it's possible. People have done it. But the real world is tough enough. Let her have a least a little bit of a safety net if she has one.
@@ProMrLecoq01 you underestimate how difficult law school is...hell just to get in is difficult. But to study and pass the bar. Yikes.
I will not forget that face Steve made after the mother said "That's Fine." 😂😂😂
Lawd! That Steve always makes me laugh but THIS one is a SCREAM! His FACE when he's mimicking the mom (around 3:30) is HILARIOUS!!
Agreed 😂
Omg her voice, OUCH. I can't imagine how she treats her at home. Mom is emotionally blackmailing her which is a form of abuse. Her favors come with strings attached, and guilt. Steve was soooo funny and spot on here
The face that she made when Steve asked if she's boring..She was like "You better not say anything"
That was a i pay your fees and give you food and shelter. Yo better watch yo mouth!
With a mom like that who is going to be there for her during her times of trouble, this girl has a superpower, i just wish she doesn't waste it, a lot of people waste it for not knowing it. Girl, in this tough world, not everyone has that previledge!
I also lived with my parents and my mom was like that when I was doing my bachelors degree and working and dating my boyfriend. I would barely spend time with my family and that for almost 2 years. But now I am working, planing my wedding and I spend lots of times during the weekend with my family and my future in laws. This mom needs to be patient. It is not true that when her daughter leaves the house that she will not see her anymore!
This family has morals you can tell she has a good daughter I would love to marry someone like her!!! She is so gorgeous!!! And she respects her momma
I wish Steve could get them back on the show to see how things are now. This was Funnnnny
They went to iHop once... Momma spent the whole time picking apart how her daughter neglects her all the time. Daughter immediately moved her ass out and hasn't even phoned home again since.
The daughter still probably never sees her mother again. But I bet the mother is trying to have a boy now cause in babies rate mothers tend to like giving birth to boys instead of girls.
F Huber this sounds so accurate I want to believe it true, but where’s the proof!
MysticStrike ForceSSJ3 nah my mom hates me but lives my sisters
A son is a son until he meets a wife. A daughters a daughter all of her life. The mom has no friends and is treating her daughter like her bbf who is backstabbing her for not being in the house. Jeez that girl has a full deck of study and work and has to let off steam. She is trying to hang onto her friends. You need them. She's gonna have to get a hobby going or get a part time job. Volunteer or something so she has news to share herself and has something to offer if and when grandchildren show up. Her husband needs to sit down and genuinely talk with her about their future or lack thereof. Couples get sidetracked like this and by retirement age no longer know each other or have anything in common. Either seperation or divorce if she doesn't quit bugging everyone for attention. She's keeping it in the home at least and not running around being a bother outside. Poor woman is lonely and looks like she's retired and worked, so wasn't the homebody. Can't put that clock back unfortunately. The daughter is an amazing soul, but too much pressure for her young shoulders. Hope it works out for them.
Steve hit it on the head. "You had 18 years to do all this" time to let go lady
"Hey frank what going on...shut up is quite" 😂😂😂
I died 😹
That was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You can tell, the mom is so sweet.
Oh man... I LOVED that Dance Steve was doing- KILLED me- it was like the Harvey version of John Cleese's silly walk. :)
Selahsmum 💯
1:33 - this part got me laughing so hard when they start going into a screaming battle😂😂😂
2:16 the moment "linda linda, listen to me linda"
I was having a bad day and thinking I wouldn't laugh but man Steve is so funny 😭
be quiet lady XD
despite the impression people may get from this, I love it all. It's very clear they're a close family, it's very sweet how they obviously love each other.
I get where she’s coming from. Like my mom died 2 yrs ago when i was 16, so ofc now i would do anything to see her again, to have another meal w/ her... but @ the same time i get where the daughter is coming from. Her mom is very annoying & tht voice makes it worse lol, but she loves her daughter. She just needs to understand her daughter is moving on w/ her life, she’ll always love her mom.. but the mom needs to let her do her own thing😊
no this mother is crazy
I feel your pain. Its been 2 1/2 years since we lost my mom and my kids and i are still feeling it. They cry every night for grandma and i break down every now and then because I miss my mom so much.
I feel you... Lost my mum when I was 21... Wished everyday I spent more time with her
I totally understand what Steve is talking about. She's living her life and enjoying it. But at the same time tomorrow is not promised for anyone. She should spend time with her mother. It goes both ways!
aaaaaawwww. The mum is so cute. She just wants her baby at home. lol
That daughter will be best off moving as far away as she possibly can when she graduates.
I don’t think there is anything cute about her at all. She is a manipulative shrew. That daughter needs to get the heck outta that house.
shes mom. she will always love her. but the mom needs to move on. shes a full grown ass woman. get on with your life.
@@carableu all she asked for was to come for dinner once a week.
The mother is pretty but she talks too much! It takes away from her being adorable, she was like shouting to get her point across.
You can tell she was a good mom who raised her daughter with lots of love and lots of boundaries. God bless them both. Her daughter will be making bank and will be able to be there for her in every way until the end.
I like the way Steve Harvey pulls off a harsh rebuke, tones it down with a joke and then evens it out with some good advice. That's a true and rare gifting.
When I was in a law school and working... it's like not having any time to do anything else. Her daughter apparently loves her, don't be so needy mama. Find a solution to fit you in her busy work school schedule and allow her to have social fun! She is working hard to be successful and deserves a little fun with her friends.
Yes Steve! Shut her up please! Lol!
She got annoying real quick!
That voice..
" Be quiet, laddddy..
Where is your man??" 😂😂😂😂🤘
HEY FRANK WHAT'S GOING ON-
SHUT UP ITS QUIET
that line is so underrated , i'm here dying of laughter while they only laugh for like 3 sec , AND MOST OF THEM DIDN'T
Me too. I cried with laughter
I loved Steve's reaction! The mother even had to change her expression at the end.
My god I watched this too many times
"Das fiyne."
Narrator: Das, was in fact, *not fiyne*
Gal vex
"Be quiet lady" Oh how I wish I could get away with saying that...
Ain't what you say its how you say it
Hilarious 😂. Watch over and over. My favorite Ask Steve episode.
Be quiet lady😂😂😂😂
I love the mother so much. Hope everything is going well 😂
we love your natural ways Mr. Steve Harvey!! you're simply one of a kind!!
Heart of a mother. Just want her kids to be with her nothing more. The purest love of them all
I feel sorry for the daughter..... This woman is crazy. Let her go give her space. She will always be there but needs to live
Natalie Howes um she just loves her daughter. I wouldn't use the word crazy...
Natalie Howes I need a girlfriend like you lol I'm a guy and wow it's like I saw. My mom's on tv, it sadly my mom's is exactly this woman I'm in late 20s n it's tuff seeing my mom, cuz she trying to make traditions n stuff
Natalie Howes I understand where the mother is going with this. I know lots of young kids who lost their parents and they regrate it for the rest of their lives because they never or even saw they parents ever. To me I think family is important because they brought you into this world. I would never leave day or 2 without at least saying hello to my parents.
Natalie Howes Then she can go live on,her own and stop using her mother... go live with her friends for free.
Momma needs to get a man and a life!
I can srsly relate with the daughter. I be studying and working so in my free time I like to spend it with my friends or reading in my room, but my mum don’t like it. I talk to her here and there, but whenever I do it always results in a lecture so I barely do it anymore cause I be too tired for it.
Parents srsly be wanting so much from us and don’t even think to look at themselves as part of the reason why we don’t be doing what they want.
And I like what Steve said. Parents had all them 18 yrs for it so if we ain’t as present now, it should be okay. And like what Steve also said, that mother at 23 wasn’t nearly as present with her parents as well so pls don’t make it a big deal parents, ur children gotta use them wings without you. Just let them and remember that they’ll always come back if they love you.
Old comment but this kinda looks like wanting your cake and eating it too. If you wanna "fly", then fly. But do that on your own power. Being at home under your mom's roof, eating her food, under her protection from the elements, is not flying. That's what children do.
@@avsimmons72 haha your reply made me come back to this comment and I’m finding it kind cringe now lmao. That was a hurt kid speaking, but I’ve grown up now. Pretty insane what a bit of time can do to a person. And I agree. It honestly sounds so spoilt holy crap 💀 is that really me?? big yikes. But I get where past me was coming from. Just wanted some space essentially. But it just sounds all wrong tho…ugh. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Really could have done without it 🤣🤣🤣
Steve is soooo funny. If, your so lonely mama why can't you get a man and then have kids of your own

she got quiet real quick she know he was speaking FACTS.
She's pretty. I need her as my attorney.
Lol yup moms get offended when they see you really not at home that often. Im a single child and they do get attached. I love how Steve told the mom!!! 🙌🙌🙌😆
Steve's tough love comedy is brilliant!

I'm kinda going through the same thing with my daughter, she works goes to school i hardly get to see her anymore 😞 if I had it my way I'd have her spend her free time with me but she's with friends. At some point as a parent I have to let go eventually when she's got her career going, done with college then I know I'll have more time with her "hopefully"
+Angela show her the video
Angela you know how its with kids, when they grow up you gotta understand that things are not going to be like before and they no longer need you and maybe thats ok you get your own life to live

"ITS TOO LATE ITS TOOOOOOOO LAAAAAATE"!!!!!! STEVE HARVEEEEY You make me laugh my DAMMMMN ASS OFF! I LOOOOVE YOU!
Both mom and daughter are beautiful! The daughter seems very sweet#
I don't live with my mom anymore, she's half way around the world from me. But the moment I heard that she might have cancer I wished I was there to be with her. And of course when I came back to visit my family I stayed with her most of the time like going to yoga class with her, eating breakfast, lunch and dinner with my family if I don't have to go out with friends. And I did that during breaks from pharmacy school when I had 2 jobs. All I'm saying is that she can definitely spend 1 night a week with her family if she knows how to organize her life, because you don't know what will happen tomorrow
Mother and Daughter both beautiful her mom seems really sweet
Be quiet lady, Steve said! "She gooone"! lmao
"shut up it's quiet
I died there
The mom should be happy that her daughter came back home. Now, as a parent, you know that your child has a home to come home to where there's people who love her. That she has food when she's hungry. That she has a safe, nice warm bed to sleep in at night. Does she pay a bit of rent? Yes. Well, ok. Stop nagging. No? Well, she's your wonderfull daughter who's going to law school isn't she?
👍🏾👍🏾I’m 23 and I second this
The daughter is such a heart throb. And she looks so young
this was funny! loved it
Her mom misses her daughter so much, and her daughter also needs to find a good time with her friends, so the daughter should make a time for her mom
This was funny as hell...
Mama don't compromise! Mama tell her what to do and she better do it! Poor girl, her mother doesn't appreciate what a treasure her daughter is! Griping at her to have dinner at home on the weekend when that is the only time the girl has to date and see friends, have fun. God guide and bless them, please! 🙏
If I had a daughter like that - that worked, and was in LAW SCHOOL - damn, I'd count my blessings!!
"you have 18 years to do that"😂😂😂😂😂
It kills every time when steve says “😫 be quiiii lady” 😂
I can’t remember if I had time for my parents when I was 23. But our daughter is married with one child and she is way busier than I was at 27. Wish they could be kids forever❣️. But grateful that she and her brother are happy!
"WITH THE FAAAAMILY" be quiet lady!🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
