- 어린이날을 맞아 가수이자 서울대병원 후원인인 이승기 씨가 어린이병원을 찾아 환자와 보호자를 위해 특별한 시간을 만들어주셨습니다.
이 자리에서 처음으로 큰 금액을 후원하게 된 이유와 병원을 다시 찾은 마음을 전했습니다.
아이들과 의료진들에게 처음 밝힌 그의 진심이 무엇인지, 그 따뜻한 현장으로 잠시 초대합니다.
To celebrate Children’s day, Singer Seunggi Lee visited SNUH Children's hospital to make a memorable time for children and parents.
He talks about the reason of donation and of arranging this event.

He also just posted something very poignant on his story that I wanted to share:

Did you forget the first half of the statement was just him advocating for his own peace of mind. What can seungi do for the victims? Is there a donate page where he can directly pay them himself? Probably not! Is there a petition he can sign? Probably not. This man isn't super human. He has got enough on his plate already. Yet here you are being a negative Nancy on a video showcasing a huge act of kindness. What are you doing to help the victims apart from being a bully? Nothing. Not one person who knows this man in real life has a bad thing to say about him. Leave him alone and focus on the real people who can actually make an impact.

He took time out of his already packed schedule to put on a extra concert for the kids, parents and staff there. Stop looking at everything so negatively. Before Dain was ever involved, no one would have questioned this. Seungi is doing the same things he has always done in the past and everyone in the room is so grateful and appreciative of his efforts.
You really need a big amount of bad will and negative thinking to find something bad in helping sick children and giving them a concert. Will anyone be better off if Lee Seung-gi stops donating? You don't have to be his fan to just simply acknowledge that this was a generous donation and that by making it public, SNU might hope to attract other donations, too, and help even more children.

Why don't you go and do something productive then instead of sitting uselessly behind a screen? Must you find negativity in everything? Seungi just did a very generous deed and even went the extra mile to give them a performance in his already packed schedule. By making donations like this public it can raise awareness and encourage others to donate as well because as you can see, right now, Seungi is the only one contributing to the improvement of this hospital and its facilities. Seungi donating and being charitable is nothing new and it's up to the organisation whether they want it public or not. This isn't a video or promotion done by humanmade but the university hospital itself. Continue being a spiteful bully, you help no one. Every single patient, parent and staff member in that facility appreciates and values Seungis kindness.
