why not battle pack 3? it was the best one, really balanced and fun, BP1 had too many crazy power cards that made the game unfair
Rush Duels serve another purpose entirely so no need to go trying to extinguish it.
As for speed duels. Whatever floats your boat man.

What would be awesome Would be a new form of battle packs, that can include favorite stand-alone cards, and every battle pack is guaranteed equal levels of cards.
For example: in my first pack, I could get my personal favorite card: The suppression Pluto, and in your first pack, you get a guaranteed card on an equal power level as the suppression Pluto, such as the tripper mercury or the grand jupiter.

I love the video, and I really love the way this one was edited, I imagine cuz honestly dont know but it must've been a lot of work to show how they were openning the packs and showing what they were getting on each of them cuz i believe you had to recored them separetly and then put them like if they were doing it at the same time, keep up the good work thanks for making this quarentin a lot better

I love when cards like, "Burden of the Mighty" are the reason you win.
I miss these, to be frank. Battle Packs 1 & 2 really nail that "fun and interactive" gameplay that I adore out of Yu-Gi-Oh! It's very calm and methodical, but the cards individually pack a serious punch.
These always bring me back. "Traditional" Yu-Gi-Oh with the back and forth, clutch draws, comebacks from 400 LP, are always fun to experience. They should really just bring back battle packs like this and update them instead of doing rush duels and all that extra junk.
Isolated battle packs like this with some cards that are banned in modern formats would be really interesting to watch.
I miss this yugioh i just got back into the game and my friend has links and 9 out of 10 games i get otk’ed
@@swugg5266 The game...is quite boring now a days. Every deck is about it's win condition, that's fine, the problem is when ALL win conditions are literally a board of 3 to 4 extra deck monsters that all either are immune to stuff, negate stuff, or both.
In the end, it's all about two things, how consistent can you create such a boring board in one turn, and if you are first.
I wish konami would start making separate formats an official thing in yugioh and not just online example duel book. I would love to play sealed format. I love using random cards to make decks and my opponent be on the same level as me!

Such a shame that sealed battle pack play never took off as a competitive game format, as the battle packs are pretty cool.

paul power what I hate most is that he does it on purpose. He’s targeting the videos at casuals, stretching a video out to 10 minutes and yet he still doesn’t explain it; he could have explained the difference between non targeting a targeting effects in the obelisk section of his god card videos but he doesn’t to confuse people. Obviously you and I know this, but many casuals don’t

I still have my duel Matt from this pack and I would have summoned Utopia when He had 2 lvl 4 monsters because he wouldn’t be affected by Burden of the Mighty.

I started in November then just worked people with my blue eyes deck, (My deck was a Maiden with eyes of blue, with blue eyes spam)

They should also give cards alternate art so people will be more likely to buy the cards. It makes it feel like your not just buying the same cards with a different package.
I don't play much besides Duel Links, I collect them more than I play. I want these to return because I want the cards and the mat. Not to mention a sealed box? Talk about amazing.
I still remember how me and my friend bought a highspeed riders display and when I got managed to summon the red nova dragon on my field XD I love these kind of decks lol
I enjoyed this a lot. What i like the most is that it's more than 1-3 turns till the end of the duel and the turns didn't take 10 minutes.
Those spell and trap cards with the dark ink titles look soooooo slick
Konami really needs to bring these back, I remember running several sealed pack duels with these back when they came out and I have to say it's the most fun I ever had playing YuGiOh :)

Since it came out, this became my favorite booster pack, I would have liked to see them do the real draft process (I mean, opening a pack, taking a card and hand the rest to the opponent) but again this duel was awesome!!

This is what level of fun deck is... combos being discovered in mid duel. Both fun an neither have to blow up an opponent's whole board. Everything falls fair an their is no OTK or over 2 minute plays. Really enjoy this type of ideas. This is what I see as a fun deck.
This brings back memories as the only official tournaments i ever played in were sealed deck tournaments.
Really wish Konami can make more of these to help people who want to get back into the game.
i like how you guys duel. fast paced, but not soo fast that you dont explain the card unless weve seen it a few times and already know how it works.
I used the cards from all the battle packs as inspiration. And I built my own cube / batlepack that you can draft with repeatedly for free
Oooooh please do more of these sealed battle packs i know there where more and i actually wanted to use it the way the box describes to do it; where (if there was 4 people) everyone takes a card from a 1 pack they open and then pass the rest of the cards to clockwise or counter clockwise and continue till all cards are chosen and repeat with the rest of the booster but do it with 2 people unless it's a tag duel
I love that Alec complained about the power level of traps between them and they (outside that Compulse in game 1 on his own Goblin Attack Force) really didn't come into play outside the duel where Alex stalled him and still lost.
At 2:21 when he says "Zenmaister" he sounds like quintin from zexal
I enjoyed this video a lot. The editing was well done and the game seemed super fun.
I love that they say it's 'fair', but then they added cards to the set that are hard to pull, and are really good. So, there's an easy chance someone could get a bunch of great cards, while the other player gets only the standard cards.
All the battle pack sets are in the Link evolution game. I loved playing the first sets to pull the monarchs ASAP.
I wish I had Nintendo online so I could use the battle packs.

Quick note on the last game.... Wind up soldier should've been shuffled into the deck instead of going in the graveyard due to grave protectors effect. lol not that it mattered. GG I love these random pack duels

battle pack 2 draft is my favorite format. I play it on legacy of duelist all the time

Video idea if you ever do Lot purchases, at the end of building (or post-reading their lot) you can allow the players to pick a some of cards from 1 archetype they would like to put into their newly built deck (however you decide the amount of Supers, Secrets, Ultras, etc. they will be allowed to receive)
I remember getting a battle pack in like, 2015 or so (battle pack 3 I think?)
We had pulled the Daigusto Emeral shatterfoil and were so excited about it because we thought it was the most op card out there

Nostalgia i remember doing that at locals now the place doesn't do tournaments any more or yugioh at all they stoped before covid
This feels like what Yugioh should be. Not spamming 10 monsters and setting up 5 3000 atk ready to swing for game whilst waiting 10 minutes for the opponent to combo.
Not every deck is like that. It's a matter of opinion
I love MTG draft and sealed format so these look like a lot of fun.
I see that a lot of people love this battle packs, it seems cool to bring them back but we could add some cool stuff to either casual and competitive players, if they do I think that could reprint cards like Demise of the Land, appointer of the red lotus, borrelsword, solemn strike, the charmer links, Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill (is basically effect veiler, I see her lowering in price later) just as some examples.
Borrelsword is insanely unfair in this kind of environment unless it was easy enough to pull to nearly guarantee both players a Borrelsword
@@sirspookybones1118 I don't know if raigeki and harpie's feather duster in that counts as fair too, I guess that's more reason to add other cards to stop monsters like kaijus or something.

i like this dueling way better than the current OTK and archetype based dueling where the game is so fast and someone will do a million things in one turn. guess im just old school.

I've really enjoyed the fun deck building challenge videos you've been doing. You make the duel very easy to follow and you guys are having fun while playing the game which is great.
The spell only and trap only ideas were great but I think they could have been better with more preparation into what cards you picked instead of just picking from random cards. We would potentially be able to see very unique strategies instead of just random nonsense.
The random card stacks were great videos but I think I enjoyed this battle pack video more. The structured card pool makes for more interesting and fun duels to watch.
I am looking forward to more sealed product play videos. Especially Battle Pack 3. That will be an awesome video. Keep up the good content.
It would be cool if the deck is the packages and whenever you draw, you draw a card pack and then you open it
