Papalitan ko rin ng bagong regulator/rectifier kasi sira na yung stock at wala nang mabili. Old school din yung stock kaya mainam yung mga bago na. Sana makagawa kayo ng video sa wiring. opo sir darating tayo dyan sa wiring. bale yan kasing DT na binubuo ko, pyesa pyesa ko yan binili. hindi po yan buong motor na nirerestore ko lang. kaya wala po akong wiring harness, balak ko talaga may DIY ng wiring harness. tapos sabay ko na rin i convert sa 12V full wave. sobrang busy lang sa trabaho kaya hindi ko pa nahahawakan uli si DT.
@@DIYPhil Pareho din tayo medyo hirap sa oras para sa hobby. Dalawang DT125 at isang DT100 nasa bahay. Yung DT100 na convert na into CDI. Yung isang DT125 na convert na rin to full wave pero di ko talaga alam kung paano. Bale mga wire color lang kinopya. Gumana naman pero mas mainam malaman talaga yung theory o background kung bakit. Yung ibang part sa wiring kagaya ng mga ilaw at ignition key hirap din kasi puro mga color based yung tutorials dito sa youtube. Balak ko rin gawing led lahat ng ilaw kaya nag aaral pa din. Magandang idea para sa video mo na gumamit ng bagong teknolohiya gaya ng regulator/rectifier, full wave, LED at makabagong fuse setup. Aabangan ko yung sosunod na mga videos mo.
Hi Here in Brazil the last Yamaha 2T motorcycles were RD135 and DT180. RD135 has a cylinder with a diameter of 58mmx50mm of travel and uses a 4Y2/3R2 connecting rod. The DT 180 has a diameter of 64.50mm x 54mm of travel and uses a 2N4 connecting rod. Is it possible to adapt the RD135 cylinder to the DT180? Did you manage to adapt the DT175 cylinder to the DT125? Thanks
Interesting info. The problem with adapting RD135 to DT180 is that they have slightly different stroke. but since you are wanting to put the RD135 cylinder to the DT180 and the DT180 has 4mm more stroke then what you may need to do is make a base spacer like I did in the video. So that at top dead center the piston is level with the top of the cylinder. Then you may also need to grind the ports to match the bottom dead center. I have not seen any of the bikes and not sure if the bolt holes line up.
For DT125 and DT175, it is an easy swap either way because the bolt holes at the bottom of the cylinder are the same layout. Also the stroke is the same at 50mm. Depending on the model, the only modification is changing the connecting rod or use a base spacer. The 2N4 connecting rod is 5mm longer than the 4Y2.

Can I ask something..if I convert my dt125 to dt175 block do I need to engineering my crankcase engine or its already plug and play?
depends on the specific model of your DT125 and the donor 175 block and the connecting rod. if both the latest model, then it is just plug and play.
any particular type of aluminum to use sir?
Nothing in particular. I think for the base spacer any type of aluminum will work. The ones I got came from sign boards.
