I'm a Big Ben Brown fan, Hopefully this neck issue is resolved and he can take the hill when needed. I have noticed in different podcast and different Baseball channels, Ben's name doesn't even get mentioned. Its like he is flying under the Radar. Ben's got great stuff who if can stay away from injury, could be a real Banger either starting or relief. Go CUBS

I literally would not trade one position player on this roster. We talk about the Cubs don't have depth if Dansby goes down. We talk about getting Bregman but we should move Nico. Ignorant statement. Cubs NEED depth. Everyone agrees. If we get Bregman, we KEEP Nico and Shaw. That is called DEPTH. This is a WIN year. Right now. To heck with the development and the best path and the this and that. I'd rather fight to get ABs for Shaw, Nico, Dansby, Bregman, Busch, Suzuki around the infield and the DH spot and have depth at the same time. And if Suzuki gets hurt there is room. If Nico gets hurt, above and beyond the two utility players recently signed, there is a plan. If Bregman gets hurt, Shaw. If Dansby gets hurt, Shaw at 2nd and Nico at 3rd. The Cubs need a plan for 2026 and a plan for NOW. 2027 is a crap shoot there might not be any baseball that year. I certainly would not do anything with Brown except to see if he's a 8th inning guy or the 5th or 6th starter. Depth and options and awesomeness with Brown. Can't wait to see how great he is. Healthy Brown is a great brown.
