Looking forward to the next video comparing speed and torque between these two gems. I've had my GDX18V-1800C for almost a year but I'm digging the new modes on the 1860C
Great vid. Just got the 1860C (210C in Europe). I notice some wobbling on the axis at the freak collar looking from the side. Wonder if you experience the same. Thought I saw some wobbling at 6:46
I rarely use different modes as well. I like the trigger/throttle control rather than relying on the torque setting. For woodworking, I like making the screw head flush with the surface. I know a few people who set the screw head in just below the surface, apply wood putty and hide them. Great video on both Bosch tools. Looking forward to the test.
I call it feathering the trigger.. 😎 that’s why when a trigger on a drill has delay I hate it and won’t use it or get rid of it.. only good use for that type is for demo where reverse is the only way I can except it
HOLA BUENA TARDE ¡¡ SON POCAS LAS DIFERENCIAS, SON 60 LB MAS DE TORQUE EN UNO QUE EN OTRO { GDX 1860 + 60 LB}. EL DIPLAY DE CONTROLES ES MAS COMODO PARA PERSONAS CON MANOS GRANDES, PUES LOS CONTROLES SON IDIVIDUALES. AMBOS CON EL MISMO MOTOR Y REVOLUCIONES DE GIRO. FUERA DE TODO ESO ES EL MISMO EQUIPO MEJORADO EN LOS PUNTOS ANTERIORES. SALUDOS
i prefer the trigger on the new one. also completely customizable speeds, diffetent modes and auto stop sold me, i added the Bluetooth and set it up for building scaffolding, mode a is for that, mode b is for wood screws, all in all the best freak to date. feels really good
i use auto stop all the time to drive hundreds of screws each day with it and i set it up and go. that feature is really useful.. it acts almost like the precision clutch on their drills.
Gr8 Video, just bought me the GDX1860C, from Lowes, had to special order it, with the help from Bosch factory reginal rep Eric, that met me @ my local Lowes, Sanford, Florida, & explained the difference, from the 1800 to the 1860c. One of my main concerns was I didn't want a tool made in China, Bosch is made in Malaysia, a friendly trading partner of the US, with that being said & the performance of my last Bosch, which still is in working order after 14 years, the GDX1860C was the winner out of all the other battery powered hand tools. Do your homework, don't buy from China!!!! They are our enemy!!!
@@WolfINK-op8wg During my purchase, the 1860 was the powerhouse @ the time & as stated in my thread 4 months ago, I had a hard time getting my hands on the 1860, I would recommend contacting their customer support I'm very pleased with my purchase, 2 oversized batteries & haven't yet been disappointed, it's one of the only tools not made in China, which was another issue for me.

Nice to finally see a comparison between these 2- I love my 1800- but I'm excited to try out the 1860 💪🏼
Yes please! Bring the comparison. It would be the first one on TH-cam

which is more powerful?
Thanks 🙏
good video! so is there a noticeable difference in performance between the 1860 and 1800c? is it worth worth getting the 1860 over the 1800c?

Do you need to use the app to set the auto stop function?
@@FryChicken no, you can use it without the app and Bluetooth, but you need the app/ Bluetooth to be able to customize the tool.
When can we buy these new impacts
Being sold now at your local lowes
I prefer the gdr version with 1/4 collet only. May have to order thru Amazon Germany

@@kenb.8596 thanks. :)
New sub rollin in ♿
I see the new one has a flatter base, hence, perhaps a longer handle?
Does it fit better in your hand?
thank you
1860 feels exaclty like 1800 no speed version. same lighter trigger. the 1800c feels like its a version on its own.
Too much talk and no action in real life. Video fail.
