I only wished there was a group here in new zealand for support/help for those tapering, want to share their stories, healing, uplifting etc? Never mind am doing tapering for my son on my own with my older son's help day by day at the moment without help...I know there is benzo buddies etc online but it would be nice to have a real person here where we live...:-( Thanks a mill though for this YT Channel that people on here have already given me/us help...
Thanks for offering these refreshing and healing views from peers. How can we connect with peers in our area who want to organize for change? I am not a certified peer specialist but want to advocate for change.
Why is no one talking about the side effect of tooth decay on these meds? I had never had a cavity until I was put on psych meds and have lost 5 top molars since.
Medical schools teach that people live too long. Medical schools, residency programs, and fellowships (training for specialty) are extremely competitive. One has to wonder if that competitive spirit spills over to the patient, i.e. are doctors jealous of their patients? Do they view some of their patients as part of the overpopulation problem? Why are there so many TV shows and movies promoting the image of the "caring, moral doctor" when many doctors who attended U.S. medical schools are overwhelmed by student loans versus doctors who went to medical school in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Iran, India, etc?
