Oh don't worry, I got my share too - 10 days without power when I got home!! Had to stay with friends and deal with so much crap. Whewwwf! I left because of my dog (she's not a small dog!) and an unsafe situation - I didn't want to be a burden on anyone with the dog for one thing, and my home at the time had no shutters, ZERO hurricane protection and was in a flood zone!! If I don't have to go through that, why would I? Plus, ANY REASON FOR A ROAD TRIP!! If I had a more sturdy home w shutters, I would have stayed. I lived through Andrew and have been here through every other hurricane. But mostly, I want my dog to be safe and happy and not crammed in some shelter or burdening someone else :)
I don't have shutters, if ya visit some of my older videos from last Sept, you'll see, I'm just an old man by myself, no one to help.....you had10 days without power, that had to be awful !

@super Enthused Was watching your vlogs and came across this one I actually live in Sevierville not to far from Knoxville but I have lots of friends who do that I visit next time you are at either town you should check out Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg you will love both towns people from all over come to visit you can Google both town's just to get a idea on things to do one of my favorite places to go is The Island in Pigeon Forge it has amazing colorful light show at night and restaurants to check out the a beautiful ferris wheel as well and just so many more you can see on Facebook or Instagram it's called The Island in Pigeon Forge Tn also in Sevierville you can also check out the Dolly Parton statue and these amazing wings that are painted up on a wall as well I have pictures of both it's a shame TH-cam doesn't let picture's to be added the Dolly Parton statue but hopefully someday you can see for yourself but I do remember when people from Florida came to Pigeon Forge during that time some of the hotels was letting people stay for free because alot of them didn't have the money to stay at the last min so hopefully your next trip will be more enjoyable where you can plan it and not have to wonder how things are going weather wise in Florida you know but anyhow you do amazing work on all the effort you do on the content you put out. Keep up all the hard work love the Disney content as well.

When I’m back home in Florida or traveling, I have a trusted dog sitter. This video was made during the hurricane and I only went places where my dog was allowed. ☺️
