All four cars have the digital dash and I love it. I love these cars and it sounds weird but they each drive different in their own way. I just put new shocks on all 4 corners of the 2000 grand marquis, what a difference in the handling. I put on KYB shocks and happy I did. I have been driving these cars since my first one as a 1979 grand marquis villager stationwagon. YES, I love these cars and it is sad they no longer make them. My history with these cars is a 1979, 1987, 1988, 1993, 1997, and now the ones mentioned above.

Runs like a champ. Leaks oil, but runs good. If your engine light is on, check it for misfires, you may have a bad coil. Good place to start is a simple tune up: plugs, fuel filter.
@@OldeCarrGuy i know lol but mine is making noise from timing chain also burns oil thru valve stem seals and bad motor mounts have you ever did a motor mounts job for mercury

I love it. I have a 2002 p71 crown vic with 200,000 miles and a 2010 p7b crown vic with 74,000 miles and I'm thinking about doing the same lift on the 2010 with some aggressive tire's. Because I already had the 2002 on 26inch rims with a 3-4inch lift (crappy spacers in the springs you buy for 10$ and a little cutting) but it worked and runs well. Love the the vic and panther vids keep it up look forward to what else you have planned for it. Name idea's. (grandson)? (black magic)? (blackpanther) ?
Time to put a manual in it so starter problems don't leave you dead. :-D I had the bendix go out in my FRS earlier this week myself. Must be the time of year. :-) Push started it and took it straight to my mechanic's. Told my brother about it and said he got a 5 ton dump truck going by push starting it (of course he had 10 guys to help). Unfortunately, the Scion's starter isn't $100. :-( It'll be cool to see how the same car takes on a different personality with the different set of mods.

My car has an remote control start device that was installed at the dealer when it was new. Sound like you may have a bad starter relay . Try swappimg it with a known good relay.
