Since I started riding motorcycles, I have always regarded M1000R as my ultimate goal. It is so attractive to me and it is the synonym of perfection in my heart. I am very excited to see the new M1000R, but I hesitated on the upgrade of the headlight. I think it is too small and cannot show the power of this M1000R. I will choose the previous version of M1000R, which is the most perfect in my heart. I will look forward to the next upgrade of M1000R in a few years♥
Def looks better, previous years had the face mushed in look with the headlight. This one looks similar to the street triples but not bug-eyed like those.
When you were inspired by the Ducatti Streetfighter you even made a bike with a similar, non-functional front guard that offered zero protection from road debris and almost guarantees a trip ending puncture to the radiator. I just don't think you've thought this through enough, hence every bike needs to add those 2 guards to help avoid the obvious incident waiting to happen. Like the bike, still might buy one, never been a fan of those long-horn mirrors and flat bar. Nice bike but these oversights really need attention.

do not buy with carbon fiber wheels. the cf wheels crack and bmw will not warranty wheels after first tire change. bmw recently released bulletin. research it. it's better to buy without cf wheels and get cf from aftermarket company like rotobox who will warranty wheels for three years. due to design, these cf wheels are prone to failure

At every new generation of the S1000R, there are lots of people to complain about the headlights. Personally, i love all the generations of the S1000R headlights. This bike always looked very manly. I love it. And the driving dynamics are exceptional on this bike. Especially the M1000R with carbon fiber wheels.
So glad I managed to get a brand new 2024 competition model from my BMW dealer last week, I saw the design of the 2025 model and instantly disliked it!
Why eventho bmw is one the biggest luxury vehicle brand, still produce small size cars like 1 series 2 series and even their x models, but not do that same thing in motorcycle department? Why theres no s650rr ? Why their smaller bikes are all retros or offroads? 600-800cc city sport types are getting more love recently and riding a 1000cc 4 cylinder bike is fun at highways but not in city daily riding scenarios…

I like these headlights more than the 2023 BMW. But I think I like the KTM Duke headlights more than this.
