Probably because he saw the free pawn + great position and went for it. Usually in rapid you wanna have the mindset of "find a good move? now find a better one". Can't usually do that in 1+0 bullet.

Hello, I have PhD. Hikaru must be cheating. He looks up very frequently as if he's focussing on reading some signal. It's Interesting that a GM thinks Hikaru is cheating. what a performance!!!

Hikaru: *hangs his Knight 15 seconds into the video*
Not exactly. Looked like it because he was moving the bishop but hadn't let go yet.
true
Think we watched a different video
He did hang the knight, it can be trapped
Fun Fact: Hikaru had 300 rating easier opponents on average this tournament than Cagnus Marlsen. Interesting
Proof?
Sounds like not his problem lolol
A 20-game streak against different opponents with strength 2300-3000 is way harder than a 50 game streak against one or two 2900 opponents.
Not sure i believe this statement.

Are you talking about the 22 winning streak Magnus had? I also think it's crazy especially in 1 minute...these guys are insane.
50 is insane
Hikaru doesn’t use engines, he is an engine ❤

In 1 0, piece activity is worth 8 pawns
Good spot, they were hammering out the moves there!

It's not. The highest bullet rating is 3570, and it belongs to Hikaru
