In Scandinavia it is because every Christmas Eve (which is the day we celebrate rather than on Christmas Day) From All of Us to All of You is broadcasted on TV. When You Wish Upon A Star is considered a Christmas song as it reflects on The Star of Bethlehem, which guided The Three Kings/Wise Men to baby Jesus.
In Sweden From All of Us to All of You have been broadcast on TV on Christmas Eve since 1959. For a number of years the schedule of the show is like this: Santa's Workshop, The Clown of the Jungle, The sewing of Cinderella's dress scene from Cinderella, Mickey's Trailer, The Spaghetti Dinner scene from Lady and the Tramp, Mowgli meets Baloo from The Jungle Book, Silly Song from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Ferdinand the Bull, Robin Hood steals the gold from Prince John scene, Pluto's Christmas Tree and two preveiws of upcoming or recently released Disney and Pixar movies.
So this is where that Peter Pan footage from the You Can Fly VHS came from. Same with that performance of "When You Wish Upon a Star" that was included on the Circle of Life VHS.
Great, especially the first D Duck/C & D cartoon and the interstitials. The rest seem like a stretch - I don't associate any of those movie clips with Christmas, and there are so many Disney cartoons and animations even prior to this show in 1967 that are directly related to Christmas or at least snow-filled. But a couple of the movie clips at least take place in winter and always fun to see them regardless. Thanks for this latest nugget of nostalgia!
I am still a bit sore that they dropped Toy Tinkers and put in Pluto's Christmas Tree from the Eighties. Not that Pluto's Christmas Tree isn’t a marvellous cartoon, but Toy Tinkers is so wonderful, and to me those scenes with the toys and nuts and presents under the tree, were the very best.
@@keepingwaltindisney They did release it on the third installment of the Chronological Donald series on Walt Disney Treasures, which covers all of the Donald cartoons from 1947 to 1950.
@keepingwaltindisney Toy Tinkers was on the DVD Donald Duck's Christmas Favourites from 2012. Not sure if this was released in the US but I say it's most likely (anyone from there may confirm this).
Good to see classic Disney specials again.
Thanks for providing all of us these classic Disney Christmas memories. 📺🪄🎄🎄🎄🎅🏻🤶🏻❄️❄️❄️☃️🎁🎁🎁🎁💖💖❤️❤️

I love Disney and Mickey Mouse
32:33 I honestly think “When You Wish Upon A Star” should be considered a Christmas song.

@@Dantegrey1 Toy Tinkers is a relatively lost cartoon now…not even on Disney+! So I’m glad to provide it here. I grew up with Pluto’s Christmas Tree!
@@keepingwaltindisney I do love Pluto's Christmas Tree as well.

There was a video release of Jiminy Cricket's Christmas that had the Tinker toys episode.
The "Lady and the Tramp" scene was missing when this program was edited into "A Disney Channel Christmas". I guess it was for time purposes.
The Jungle Book is the last animated feature film for Walt Disney after his death in 1966.
And just before he died, Disney gave the go-ahead to his animation staff to start on The Aristocats after finishing The Jungle Book.
