I have a now pretty ancient 2002 or something like that Triton that's been very well cared for until it got to me 3 years ago and LOVE IT. I live on Champlain and the boats just under 17' but looks like a Bass boat but called fish n ski or something like that and has a slightly deeper V and it cruises on a calm day trimmed right up on the last couple inches in the water, SMOOTH SMOOTH SMOOTH but on a bumpy day it eats n cuts the wave as well as any v hull I've ever run in my 51 years. My 20 year old Triton literally has ZERO issues outside of the ORIGINAL depth finders on it. I would absolutely shop Triton if i were wanting to pay new boat money for quality n longevity

i know you can't believe it d.c. but not everyone can afford a 100,000 boat. you got so much stuff to catch fish on there, you don't even have to fish. just sit back and watch the fish give up. your still my favorite tho.

I don't wanna step on toes here Jeremy but it's probably because the Ultrex is a lot smother and tighter. You can make precise small movements with it. And when using the active target, that has the smallest cone sonar, you want to be able to make those small lil changes with your foot.
