We always use tacticams the are so great for tracking deer patterns it sends pictures directly to your phone as you get them. They can be a little pricey but well worth it. Great Trail camera

Great video LoJo. Happy Holidays to you and yours as well. Just a couple shooting tips for ya, #1 never rest the barrel of your rifle on a hard surface such as your shooting window. It can upset the harmonics of the barrel. And #2 is for your bow shooting. Get yourself a wrist sling and shoot with a loose or open grip so your take a lot of torque off your bow and your groups will tighten and your arrows will fly straight. Keep up the good work..

My favorite trail-cams that i like to use are Tactacam Reveal gen 1 and 2. They’re GREAT for budget and high quality pictures and sends it right to your phone. I hope this helps you! Happy Holidays and good luck this season!

Get some of Kendall Grey's trailcams the KG trail cams are the most reliable & indestructible trail cams I've ever used.
That deer in the intro is the deer equivalent of Neo from the matrix
I use the Spypoint LM2 myself. But I recommend picking up the solar panels for them. They are helping the camera last so much longer than normal double A batteries.

FYI, dress in black if you are inside a blind that's black on the inside. They can see your silhouette when you wear tan and green camo with a black back drop.
Are you keeping a notebook in the hunting cabin for everyone to write in each season?
Do doe taste better than bucks? I always harvest older bucks or ducks that are really big with small racks.

@LOJO you should definitely buy some Spartan game cameras. They are definitely the best ones I’ve ever used. I’ve never once had a problem with any of mine. Also they get great service on areas where the cell service is questionable.
they are good cameras . the ghost one i got has gps tracking so camera cant get stolen as easy

If you want to capture the coloring of the redish colors in the evening or early mornings set your white balance to the cloudy setting it will help capture the vibrants of the oranges and reds. Then set your iso as low as you can to get the details of the moon

I hunt in Alabama to and we get some nice bucks on camera over 140” using peanut butter rice bran. It has been really good for us for the past 3 years we have used it. Love the hunting videos keep up the good work and maybe trie the rice bran and see what it does for where you hunt.

It's illegal to bait/salt for deer where I hunt but nothing illegal about food plots plus farming. I hunt a lot of public land just because it's close to where I live and there are tons of old burlap bags nailed to trees that used to have salt in them from when it used to be private LOL There is always an unsafe old rickety stand nearby.
I have no problem with guys who "cheat" when deer hunting just because of all the legal ways of it like having a corn field or even my mom's garden out in the middle of the pine trees. Plenty of deer around their house eating the lawn LOL

I just went on my first hunt sadly I shot nothing but my friend got one a doe was a good amount of meat I'm stoked for next year hopefully I have my own rifle and I will be going on state game lands and maybe I'll get to see one

Your property isn't overpopulated, if you put more food plots/food, your food plots would do better. Less pressure on the food sources.
Y'all lucky down there where you live for deer. I live in Lauderdale County just a wee bit north of Pickwick and we have active cases of CWD. I'm reluctant to even go hunting for deer right now because I don't want to waste a trip to fill my freezer. 😢

I would try and trap some raccoons they will eat the bass in the micro pond
Love the hunting videos lojo. Mental camera setup is all cellular cams to cut down on the human interaction in my area since it so small. But I use Moultrie edge cellular cams. You don’t have to have a memory card and it connects to the best cell coverage in your area I have them covering my feeder and the path leading to my deer blind. I do have some non cell cams covering areas that don’t have a feeder kind of other deer trails that lead to my hunting area or that skirt around it to see the deer movement through the area I check them every once in a while if I don’t see any deer on my hunts. Those are muddy cameras non cellular and they work great.

Hey @lojofishing love the videos I’m also new to hunting started 2019 and got my first deer this rifle season, I know you probably won’t see this but figured it’s worth a chance, been watching you for years and because of you started my own channel don’t have too much on it. Was wondering if you have any old gopros and:or accessories that could help out a beginner vloger?
all i have is spypoint and they worked good for the first two months i had them out now they keep having problems with the micro sd although its brand new buy moultrie or tactacam
