America is more focused on current events and controversial issues, as well as the social impact initiative. At Miss USA they asked us some current even questions but it's more focused on our goals and personality.
I would also like to get your opinion on the strong women competing for the miss Universe crown. Would you mind doing a "prediction like" video or something similar, but that's objective...
I need to start looking at everyone. I was so consumed with USA prep that I hadn't paid attention to the other countries getting crowned. I think my opinion right now would be very misinformed lol.
Filipino Archmage no, although some states have local competitions that can cover state sponsorship fees as part of your prize package, it’s not required to win a local to be eligible for the state pageant. We don’t have any locals in Montana. It’s hard enough to get contestants interested in a state pageant.

Really great question. Every state pageant is different, but for Montana I only had one outfit for check-in, that I wore for rehearsal as well, because orientation is quick. Later I changed into interview. The next day, I had one outfit to wear to the venue, but we quickly changed into our opening number dresses. I took my swimsuit, gown, then one outfit to wear after the pageant to dinner with family. In total, the max I needed was 3 outfits, aside from competition wardrobe, but you can get away with 2.
