Great video Thanks. The easiest way I found to insert the Pea gravel into the bases was using a large funnel. Look for a funnel with large opening at the top and bottom. Got mine at Auto Zone. You can also use water with the pea gravel for extra weight for high wind areas.
Simple, straight forward, and to the point! Appreciate you taking the time to film, and post this how-to video. Just bought the exact same one a few moments ago and am relieved to see pretty good engineering, before setting up. (If my wife can ever figure out exactly where she wants it?) P.S. - to the 3 people that didn't like this video.....BITE ME!
Thanks for the video. For me, pouring the sand was a huge pain. Is there a proper way to close the umbrella? Cranking the opposite direction only goes so far, and there's nothing in the instructions.
Do you notice any sway with the main beam (holding the umbrella) after installing? Just bough/installed and the main beam definitely shifts an inch or so in either direction.
I am looking to buy this umbrella. Can you let me know how big the umbrella is? Diameter in Ft? I am not sure if I have enough space on my patio for it
Hello, When you put in the last 2 screws, your arm was in the way n I couldn't see what or where. N solar n electric was not clear. N I can understand not putting in the sand, but you could have shown me how. Other wise your video was fine. Thank You. Jenay ByArd
Patience is about the only thing LOL. You Could also use a 5 gallon bucket with a smaller hole drilled into the bottom so you can rest it over the hole.

We put sand in the base no issue - using a wide mouth canning funnel. Make sure to leave room for water freezing/expansion in the winter! Honestly the base takes the longest part.
I'm having the same issue as others...this was once solid straight up with no leaning or swaying...now it's damn near falling over because of the pre-assembled hub...anyone know what to do?
We have this umbrella, purchased July 2019, and strong wind over time and a large storm caused the rotating hub at the base to break in half. Inside the hub, 3 large screws (longer than the 4 screws holding the hub onto the legs) sheared off. These internal screws were part of the pre-assembled hub as it came in the box. Do you know if that rotating hub can be purchased by itself? Some ball bearings spilled out also once the hub broke.
@@cshiroky8141 We ended up disassembling the hub and buying replacement bolts and ball bearings at a hardware store though paying attention to bolt and bearing specs important. The hub was back ordered by manufacturer. Reassembled, it’s so far so good.
I wish I had saw your video first besides watching others. Nobody showed to put 2 screws in he base. When I tried to pull up on this umbrella to lift it, the entire pole came out of the base and crashed on the concrete. I had even put the solar disc on already and I'm surprised it didn't bust it. Luckily everything seems to be fine.

Thank you soon much for this video
No problem Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the comment we will have many more videos to post!
Thank you. Apparently my set of directions were not very clear on where to put the solar panel. Ha Ha Your review HELPED a lot! Thanks.
Well done, thanks.
Thank you for the comment!
Nice bbq grill
Thanks buddy!
Awesome video thank you

Perfect...thanks

Thanks Bro.
You're welcome!
Great vid. One note. The instructions dont show it as having lightning. Im an idiot and took me a year to realize i had the solar panel left over.

I will check tonight and let you know tomorrow
Many reviews say the light cord is cut when the umbrella is turned around. Can you give any update on that defect?
I have not had the issue at all I have rotated this many times with no problems. I think this has been corrected.
Can you tell me what is the base you are using?
This base came with my kit did yours not come with one?
The put the swivel foot peddle back on the base instead of higher on the pole. This corrected the cut wire issue
I was also worried about this defect, but still decided to pull the trigger! So glad that it was fixed and mine rotates very easily too
Just bought this exact same one, had an awful time trying to get sand into the base pieces, couldn't get but a little over 3 bags into them
Picking mine up from Lowe’s on Monday , can you tilt the umbrella once it’s open ?
Yes absolutely! Good luck on the assembly

I hear the sand can be a pain to put in the bases. What was your experience with this, any tricks you learned to help with this?

This comment helped us. We used a cut large coke bottle as a funnel. It definitely helped a lot
Does anyone know how to replace the broken string?

My solar lights have quit working after only three months. Any idea how to fix?
Reach out to the company for the warranty, they will replace!
Where is it made?
I am not sure but my guess is China
@@how2sreviews4 I'm trying to buy USA made only. Thanks for the information.

Ball bearings fell out as well...help!!

Anybody having issues due to metal base rust staining concrete floor?

I have the same one but, mine has the handle to turn the umbrella side to side. Made by Lowe's A.K.A. Allen Roth. Lowe's dropped the price b 50%
