I always use my towels, sheets and blankets to help pack breakables. I also pack up each bedding set in its own box pillows and all that way when you get where you are going it is easier to open 1 box and make the bed.
Have a "Holiday-Trip" - suitcase while moving. Then you don't need to unpack everything in a rush, because you have all your important things in this suitcase.

We moved so much in our younger days, i can relate. Some foods that helped me through the move for dinners were freezer meals sloppy joes or chilli ( both good next day over noodles) and could warm in crockpot til ready to eat. Freezer lasagna rolls or lasagna also quick. Lunches were same or a variety of lunch meats, cheeses, fruits etc with side of deli potatoe salad, chips etc. thank you for sharing videos with us. Motivates me!

I am almost finished packing up my home for a cross country move. I’m 65 and disabled and boy this is tough. I was so exhausted today I couldn’t move. Tomorrow’s another day. I can see the end but it’s almost as if the end is harder than midway. Maybe it’s because I’m so exhausted? Maybe it’s realizing that I’ll be in between this move (my stuff will be in storage) and having to pack one suitcase for three months. It’s unbelievable how much I’ve thrown out. The whole thing is so overwhelming. The movers come in five days. I’ll be staying with a friend next and all I want to do after this move is sleep for a week. Thanks for listening!

I highly recommend wraps for easy meals. They're super versatile and can be just a snack or a meal. And they go with a tone of toppings. Peanut butter, meat and salad, eggs, ham and cheese. It's super easy.
I saw a tip on Pinterest where you buy different colored tape to out on boxes and each color represents a room so it's easier to move the boxes or have the moving company move
Hannah, crock pot lasagna is a great meal to prepare and who doesn't like lasagna. Look up the recipe online. It's not too time consuming to prepare, and then you can just leave it up to the crock pot. If you try it let me know if you and the family like it..

Next time you move try using your kitchen and bath towels to wrap kitchen glass. You use less plastic, save money, and have more boxes for other items.

Would you consider doing a hair video on how you put your hair up, go to styles? Mine is a little shorter than yours and it’s always falling out of the bun. I have a toddler and newborn in 2 months. I need to keep my hair out of my kids reach 😅💞
I know moving is exciting but i have a question do you feel a littlw bit sad or melancholy about this home you are lmoving out of? Im asking since its the house your kids grew up in and also im moving soon and im so e xcited but i wonder if you feel a little bit like this dispite the excitement.
I have felt that way about every home i've moved out of. I go thru each room thanking it for providing shelter for my family. . . It was odd but every place we lived, when we decided to move the place would start falling apart like it was sad for us to go!
I realize this video is over a year old and you are making your new house your home. This just brought to mind many personal moves and it seems the kitchen takes the longest time to pack with its thousand and one items that have to be handled one by one. It's obvious you're a very organized lady and did a beautiful, efficient job of it all. (:

We sold our current house and our new build wont be ready till NOVEMBER so we are finding a rental with my in laws cause their house wont be ready till August so then we are moving into their basement rent free for a couple of months
I don't envy you. I hate moving. Last time I moved I was 39 weeks pregnant with baby number five. Freezer meals are good, also sandwiches can be frozen so you could make up a bunch of them for lunches. Otherwise any pot/ pan type meals so you don't need heaps of utensils.
