Vintage Franciscan China! 1930s through the 80s. Is this all Franciscan dishware? No, it isn't, there are many more beautiful patterns to look for, but this is a good chunk! :-) Hope you enjoy!
My first job as a designer was with Franciscan! I was there from 1979-the closing. I was hired the week before the company changed hands from Interpace to Wedgwood. I was so fortunate to work with a team of wonderful designers who had been there for many years. They were so kind and I have many fond memories of my time there.
That is really cool! You just never know who's watching one of these videos! I bet you loved that job! It sounds really neat! Thank you so much for sharing that with me (us). I hope the video was to your liking. Did you work on any designs? If so, which ones? Very interesting!
Thanks for the video, it was great. I have a full set of Starburst for 8 people, all except the canisters. They are just too expensive and very hard to find.
Sounds beautiful! How lovely! I don’t have one single piece of the Starburst pattern, and have yet to find any in the wild! As a matter of fact, I’ve never seen a piece in real life! Yes, they are very expensive!
Franciscanware is my very favorite. I know it is more common, but I've always loved it. Desert Rose pieces made in California are my creme de la creme.
Thank you! Those two patterns are so very vintage in my opinion! Remember the ivy wallpaper they used to have back then that matched those dishes? How cool huh?
Thanks for the quick reply! I had Starburst in my collection years ago and sold all of it with much much regret. I have been lucky to find Madeira and Hacienda green in the wild and will hold onto that with dear life! Love your videos!

I worked there from 1970 - 1980, hollow ware, work with Dorothy Hibach. Margie Encinas, Mary Nichols in decals.

I've seen Desert Rose and Ivy but the Ballet is GORGEOUS. ❤ This is why I need your channel, so I know what to look for! Thanks so much!!!
We also fell in love with the Ballet, it is gorgeous! AND I have to say I love that Silver Pine! You are very welcome, and thank YOU so much!

The ballet and silver pine are just beautiful! And the woodlore is adorable. They are all just great.
Hi CJ! Yes they are!! Totally agree!
Always thrilled to receive notification of a video from you guyz. Outstanding content always.
Thank you so much!
My mother had the Delmar an the Ivy. Thank you.

I lived in military housing growing up. We didn't have wallpaper but it would be cool.
One of my favorite companies - should say labels - since I was a nerdy, dish collecting pre-teen.
Love your videos.
Thanks, NaD! One of our favorite 'labels' too! :-)
I love the music? I love the Desert Rose!
Thank you so much, Desert rose is nice.
You do such a good job. I get to see pieces and remember what they are and which company. Thank you
Thank you very much, Chris! So glad you like them!
Come on! We all know Starburst is the star of Franciscan dinnerware!
Hahaha! That is very true! But let us not neglect the others!

🥰🥰
It would have been nice if you put the names earlier in the video, but Thank you for showing so many patterns.
What? The names are shown as the dish represents itself. What are you talking about?
Why did you not show the magnolia pattern?
I hate that pattern! LOL
Beautiful but full of lead!!! Do not use for food!!!!
I lick lead.
