I got a little behind in the battle pass so I haven't had a chance to check out the new drop rates for runes yet in those two places. I will check them out later on. When I farm I do it alone, I love playing games solo. The only time I like playing Immortal in teams is when it is shadow war and raiding the vault. I will from time to time do a little more PvP, usually though I avoid it because I just don't like PvP in general. I have very touchy when it comes to bans. If I did break the rules that causes a ban then sure I don't mind. If there is a mistake that I made that can be cleared up and i can keep playing i am fine. But a ban for no good reason will seriously get me thinking about leaving the game forever. I will not put up with being punished for no reason at all. I have other games that I can play other than Immortal I got City of Heroes on the Homecoming server. I have Grim Dawn. Last Epoch, Star Trek Online, etc... Plus I could even decide to try other games so I will not be without a game to play at all. But as far as farming goes I got a lot of different areas that I can go to in order to farm if one area becomes swamped.
the market has become a joke. im putting a lot of blame on ppl making all these bots\alts, like the 75 different xiohao bots. i dropped from at least 7 e rifts due to ppl sending in toons with random character names (i call them bots). they start as lead, we all enter, then they just sit at the entrance. i refuse to carry, or help carry, someones bot. everyone participates in completion, i hate running so far to find a boss. more ppl need to report these "characters". they manipulate everything
I'm getting a bit of a bad rep on my server for kicking players that hang at the spawn point. No crest? No prob, help kill mob. Pony up a crest, fine you can stand there. But no crest AND no help, see ya - kick.

I did notice it too., ussually after we enter the riff, they just stay still and then exit, but the weird things they enter the riff with eternal crest.. i wonder if it effect the drop gems
I farmed for 6 hours today and only got 3 grey runes, what happened to blue gems blizzard, plus half as much material because you are competing with so many other players now.I did 10 dungeons and only got to complete 7 of them because the server timed out in 3 of them kicking me from the game.On the upside i bought 2 three star seeping biles for 15200 plat and a bsj two star for 17100 plat, the price of gems has dropped severely.
Not all afk farmers camp in a spot 24/7. The party members always change. In my server cluster, people join an afk farm party to complete 1 bestiary turn-in, complete a bounty, farm to pass time and so on. Sure, there are a few who do camp for hours and hours on end but they're only a few. Also, there can be multiple instances of parties farming in the same spot. Just let people farm their mats. If tension arises between a few people, let them settle stuff on their own.
Tell blizzard to auto disconnect people after 15/20min standing AFK on a map. So they get a auto teleport to westmarch/ or login screen. I guess if you tell blizzard they may listen 😅
That's already a thing. If you stand still for 15 mins anywhere you get logged out. Happens even if you're fishing. No keyboard, mouse or controller input whilst idle/fishing for 15 mins straight and you're out to character select screen.
The only way to get the market active again is to make newer ways to gain platinum (bounties, dungeon, battleground rewards etc), and also increase the daily amount in codex from 300 to 1000 at least. Whales cant get platinum without spending orbs because f2p/low spenders cant amass plat to buy stuff in the market.
The tower/towers were mentioned, it was said in the countown info ingame If you clicked on the countown it opened a new window with the info that is coing to happen in a shortened point by point list. And for the runes did a test run after merge of 100 erband i think (the left one) and got 0 blues, and around 16 runes, so avarge 1 rune per 5 run.
They notified us that Towers would be reset upon merger. You didn't read the memo. WHY DID THE MERGER 'FESTIVAL OF DAWN' EVENT NOT START UNTIL 8:30pm est? Start time was 3 am JUN 26. I need a job with Blizzard. I can be at least as incompetent as they are.

I'm from doombringer, we are part of the same merger group and I'm actually kind of choked about the towers as well because we (grim) just locked one down the day before as well. As for Gem prices, yeah, doombringer used to have a lot more higher resonance players that left when a couple Clans swap servers and now our Market has just been flooded ever since which really brought down the prices of everything. A year ago everything was like double the price. But I have noticed that prices have gone down even more since the merger
Diablo is historically a grindy game, but the grind is getting overwhelming. We now have to grind for normal gems, 5 star gems, pets, runes, set items, terror rifts .... They really need to implement a better crafting system for all this and increase the platinum. The market is crashing because the whales have reached their spending limits and the non whales look at the literally 50 k or more it takes. The drop rate for runes is abysmal. I got 12 runes last week with my normal activity level, ehich is generally about 2-3 hours a day. This week NOTHING. No runes. No terror stones. Seriously getting online at a specific time, running terror rifts in a party, take down 3 towers, 4 if you are lucky, takes 20 minutes allnsaid and done and nothing. No leggo. No terror stones. The low drop rate makes grinding useless. If they made a crafting system, improved the drops, and increased the platinum they would retain more players and encourage light spenders. As it is, there is no reason to drop $1-500 in game, too little value for the cash.
Drip feeding content is not going to improve or sustain the game's longevity. Fun is. Stop making the game unfun, Blizz. People will stick around for a fun game.
"Iben Fahd's Tenacity" should be a guaranteed drop in Legacy of Horadrim, upon opening all chests. The random drop rate is very bad, my Wizard with 2 years of existence never drop it, even though I spent real money buying keys and opening all chests.
Blizzard is making bad decisions after bad decisions in this game. No wonder people are quitting. Hopefully, the revenue drops to the point they open their eyes and fix what they're doing.
on the topic of afk farming. i let my necro sit in the deeps ne of the waypoint while im at work overnights, just to farm monster essence. theres 3 groups that spawn that my zombies can get, maybe 4. i sit there, and they do the work for me until my breaks, and i cash in what have at those points. anyone that comes along, feel free to do mobs, it doesnt bother me. i do it about 4-5 overnights a week. take mobs i set myself up for, it honestly doesnt bother me, i dont even know. whatever you are doing is more important then my dumb nonsense, i promise. so to those that have seen me there, like FOMO (hi fomo), do your thing.
If afk farming isn’t allowed to en blizzard would give us the tools to do it. As far as I’m concerned if people mass report someone for afk farming, the mass reporters should be the ones getting banned for false reporting. The afk report is meant for people who join an instance or dungeon or BG and sit idle hurting your ability to win

Buying and selling gems is a risky move. Its like investment, buying a product hoping for it to sell later on the stock market at higher price. Its not always profitable. Market price will always change whether its in the game or in real market
Rune drop rates was increased but from open world but its only lot more frequent grey Runes this is what was increased olollol 50 Runes in a day 1 blue rest grey
Tip: If you are looking to actually get better gear, Terror Rifts are the way to go, they have been nerfed ever since the level crunch and are pretty easy now.
There was in game info regarding the server merge and everything it would affect. They need to get better at conveying information EVERYWHERE. Use your platform and tell them if they want to seem professional MAYBE Spell Check AND GRAMMAR! They don't know the difference between than and then according to many tooltips. But they must take turns because sometimes it is correct. GET THIS PART TOGETHER BLIZZ. It hurts the game more than most realize. Not an increase to drop rate because they never dropped from the new modes! It's just something they have to fix. Definitely unintended.
There is no difference from afk farming and a group of four farming a spot together for hours on end. It is ridiculous for people to go as far as reporting people because they aren't able to farm a certain spot. People need to grow up, it is a game.
The change to the market only allowing the least cost being eligible for purchase is ruining the economy. I always hated undercutting. When I post something for sale on any game, I always try to compete at the fair market price or even post at an increased amount. Platinum earning in Diablo Immortal is not the best system. I still think DI needs to revisit the warband system. I stopped trying to keep up a warband participation. It is just too difficult to manage to even try to get the weekly welfare legendary crest.

Hmmm. Here we go again about drop rates. Thats called rarity. If you have hard time, as long as you are not alone it should be fine. If everyone is in the same boat its should be ok. If there are so many available it is no longer worth farming. Duh. something are best not left to whims of the players. Re: market a lot of stock can also be attributed to players hoarding crest before the update or buying ang using after the update of course there will be spike on supply. And the recent 5* gem is not worth while so no need for fodder and gem power, so more stock.
I agree a lot of great things in the game , but Blizzard greed just shines through, always bringing us more with the hopes of more money being spent, I say this cause as a Barb and I have only played barb There is a bug with Wrath of The Berserker that has been around for a very very very long time ( it does not allow sprint to continue once you engage WoTB)I have seen a lot of bugs corrected on the Popular Meta Characters but the ones they have lost interest in continue to play with bugs and i don't see them addressing this considering the amount of time that has passed already!!!

Afk farming isnt the problem. The only class that can do this is necro in any form. Afk farming helps with getting new essences if you swapped classes, helps to fairly quickly to get the 12 secondary drops, and when needed, helps you get to the new paragon level. So lets address the elephant in the room... This wouldnt be such an issue because Blizzard never addresses the dup gem issue effectively. People want good secondaries now. Not in ten game years because thats how long its going to take to catch up. Let alone three gem green drops and decent firt/will gear to do pvp with. Lego gem drops that people have to pay more orbs now due to new gems that are crap, previous legos dups that arent available in quantity, and theres no inflation with a p2w predator capitalism model. Its fake so fix it. It only cost maybe 30k to max 6k res back in the day. Ask what it cost now. Lastly, if people are being bad farmers, there should be anyone that cannot get their bounties done. Good farmers know bounties are necessary so no fuss necessary. Do your bounties then go on to the 1000 other task necessary to grind for because we only live to farm for twenty four hours a day. Nobody wants to go back to circle farming. Its more wasteful than afk farming just so i can say o m g look i can move to farm. *Eye roll* if you want gem drops with movement, farm dungeons and stop being so extra about it. Lol... One more thing, its the best way to cap the 30 level on lego gear. Otherwise, you are going to be here a minute.
If you report a person because they use a stock phone with stock software to grind essences and gems, maybe you are part of the problem. Here is some advice. Fix the cheat engine users, the localhost file modifiers, and otherwise 1000 alt users trying to make the game worse by punishing people trying to keep up. Add a software pack that would help generate income that gives people access to these "cheats." If you level the playing field how is that bad when people will pay for it that Blizzard allows and gives away for free. Oh content creators with 5k/6k secondaries that make videos for multiple games just so happen to have that high secondary stats but never spent a penny in the markets *cough* bullsheet *cough* but magically have twice the secondaries as everyday since the beginning players. We want to keep playing but have been cheated out of pvp and vault now only the whales need fish. Lastly, everyone says only the whales matter. They are the only people paying for the game. Go dark guys... One/two weeks for silence isn't going to change your current game dynamic that much. Might actually make getting to 400 quicker do to 800% return player bonus. If the peons are pointless, prove to everyone at those companies and the gaming community we are not needed in any form. You want easily listening whale songs all day?! Ok do it. Go dark and see how unimportant we truly are to the community, to the game, and most importantly to blizzard and netease.

Make platinum and crests cheaper More platinum for less money More crests for less platinum Substantially. Double platinum. Half the cost for crests. Especially with all the new ways to get res. Supply and demand.

It's good it doesn't drop a LOT of them.. there is no need to have everyone dropping thousands of these daily. THE PROBLEM is that they should be primarily rewarded for delivering 10 abyss essences and HIGHER chance of dropping in the MENTIONED NEW MODES. I spammed a loads of it after update and got shit, came back to tower and dropping them without even trying, it's pathetic and degenerated how shitty the development for stuff is existing in game. Just give us tower where we farm literally everything that we can drop anywhere else, what is the point of having extra modes or playgrounds if we could farm all just in towers.
9K resonance is a lot more than a $10K toon buddy lol. I'm talking substantially more, upwards of $40-50K+. $10K will only get you that account if purchased straight from someone selling. If directly within the game, $10K might get you to 5-6K resonance if you're lucky.
@@alexbueno2235 Yeah, you would be astonished at the amount of $$ some people have spent here. The average in my clan is probably between $5K-7K, and only a few are mega whales having spent way more. While some of it can be flowover from Battlenet credits from WoW, the vast majority is just right out of the wallet/credit card. I would almost argue that of the folks still playing, your typical "average" spender has already spent between $3-5K if they've been playing from day 1. Which if you think about it is only around $100-$200/month.

Concetrated will 3/5 literally sells for 19k on my sever (Arreat Summit). Rank 4 Aquamarines for 3k. The market there is beyond screwed.

I just saw an entire clan of high reso players in SEA region just quit instantly and played Tarisland. Players were from Singapore.

About the Towers, only the servers who merged lost towers, servers like mine 'Breath of the Dying" did not lose towers.

I'm glad the Legendary gems are cheaper, regular gems are the ones that are to cheap. I farm regular gems and sell them to buy Legendary gems.
Nearly got all the blue runes in rando dungeons
I find the best drop for runes in elder rift. In 20 e rifts I get like 5-10 runes

There was in game info regarding the server merge and everything it would affect. They need to get better at conveying information EVERYWHERE. Use your platform and tell them if they want to seem professional MAYBE Spell Check AND GRAMMAR!

There is no difference from afk farming and a group of four farming a spot together for hours on end. It is ridiculous for people to go as far as reporting people because they aren't able to farm a certain spot. People need to grow up, it is a game.

The change to the market only allowing the least cost being eligible for purchase is ruining the economy. I always hated undercutting. When I post something for sale on any game, I always try to compete at the fair market price or even post at an increased amount. Platinum earning in Diablo Immortal is not the best system. I still think DI needs to revisit the warband system. I stopped trying to keep up a warband participation. It is just too difficult to manage to even try to get the weekly welfare legendary crest.
I don't see that as broken, it may allow F2P access to gems that might not be available to them normally.
if something isn't done to right the market the game is dead! normal gems, skill stones and Runes don't sell anymore! there legitimately is no way to progress your character at this point without spending money. Bye Diablo Immortal!!!

Bounties and contracts are often in good farming areas. So I think it's something you'll need to get use to.

Well I myself with a bunch others agreed with this afk farming and mass report them to get them banned since bliz ain’t doing anything because afk farming is against ToS and is bannable since people have been banned before for this but now they use macros to get away and hide
Hmmm. Here we go again about drop rates. Thats called rarity. If you have hard time, as long as you are not alone it should be fine. If everyone is in the same boat its should be ok. If there are so many available it is no longer worth farming. Duh. something are best not left to whims of the players. Re: market a lot of stock can also be attributed to players hoarding crest before the update or buying ang using after the update of course there will be spike on supply. And the recent 5* gem is not worth while so no need for fodder and gem power, so more stock.

I agree a lot of great things in the game , but Blizzard greed just shines through, always bringing us more with the hopes of more money being spent, I say this cause as a Barb and I have only played barb There is a bug with Wrath of The Berserker that has been around for a very very very long time ( it does not allow sprint to continue once you engage WoTB)I have seen a lot of bugs corrected on the Popular Meta Characters but the ones they have lost interest in continue to play with bugs and i don't see them addressing this considering the amount of time that has passed already!!!

Echo made a video once talking about how he joins randoms farming and then auto follows them while they loop around and doesn't do anything to help, but afk farming is a problem. Haha. What a tool

Afk farming isnt the problem. The only class that can do this is necro in any form. Afk farming helps with getting new essences if you swapped classes, helps to fairly quickly to get the 12 secondary drops, and when needed, helps you get to the new paragon level. So lets address the elephant in the room... This wouldnt be such an issue because Blizzard never addresses the dup gem issue effectively. People want good secondaries now. Not in ten game years because thats how long its going to take to catch up. Let alone three gem green drops and decent firt/will gear to do pvp with. Lego gem drops that people have to pay more orbs now due to new gems that are crap, previous legos dups that arent available in quantity, and theres no inflation with a p2w predator capitalism model. Its fake so fix it. It only cost maybe 30k to max 6k res back in the day. Ask what it cost now. Lastly, if people are being bad farmers, there should be anyone that cannot get their bounties done. Good farmers know bounties are necessary so no fuss necessary. Do your bounties then go on to the 1000 other task necessary to grind for because we only live to farm for twenty four hours a day. Nobody wants to go back to circle farming. Its more wasteful than afk farming just so i can say o m g look i can move to farm. *Eye roll* if you want gem drops with movement, farm dungeons and stop being so extra about it. Lol... One more thing, its the best way to cap the 30 level on lego gear. Otherwise, you are going to be here a minute.
If you report a person because they use a stock phone with stock software to grind essences and gems, maybe you are part of the problem. Here is some advice. Fix the cheat engine users, the localhost file modifiers, and otherwise 1000 alt users trying to make the game worse by punishing people trying to keep up. Add a software pack that would help generate income that gives people access to these "cheats." If you level the playing field how is that bad when people will pay for it that Blizzard allows and gives away for free. Oh content creators with 5k/6k secondaries that make videos for multiple games just so happen to have that high secondary stats but never spent a penny in the markets *cough* bullsheet *cough* but magically have twice the secondaries as everyday since the beginning players. We want to keep playing but have been cheated out of pvp and vault now only the whales need fish. Lastly, everyone says only the whales matter. They are the only people paying for the game. Go dark guys... One/two weeks for silence isn't going to change your current game dynamic that much. Might actually make getting to 400 quicker do to 800% return player bonus. If the peons are pointless, prove to everyone at those companies and the gaming community we are not needed in any form. You want easily listening whale songs all day?! Ok do it. Go dark and see how unimportant we truly are to the community, to the game, and most importantly to blizzard and netease.
Gee what other games exist that have good pvp and arenas that are not based on p2w stats. Let's see all those skills when your res and secondaries cannot help compensate for your lack of skills because you cannot even make it through a high level of mechanics based dungeons and raids to get the gear to begin with. Sorry I'd rather have great skills instead of 20k/30k/40k/130k upgraded character that is basically, point n click.

THE PROBLEM is that they should be primarily rewarded for delivering 10 abyss essences and HIGHER chance of dropping in the MENTIONED NEW MODES.
I spammed a loads of it after update and got shit, came back to tower and dropping them without even trying, it's pathetic and degenerated how shitty the development for stuff is existing in game.
Just give us tower where we farm literally everything that we can drop anywhere else, what is the point of having extra modes or playgrounds if we could farm all just in towers.
What I hate is someone with 9k wings standing through WHOLE DUNGEONS 🫠 how much fun is that $10k toon
9K resonance is a lot more than a $10K toon buddy lol. I'm talking substantially more, upwards of $40-50K+. $10K will only get you that account if purchased straight from someone selling. If directly within the game, $10K might get you to 5-6K resonance if you're lucky.

@@alexbueno2235 Yeah, you would be astonished at the amount of $$ some people have spent here. The average in my clan is probably between $5K-7K, and only a few are mega whales having spent way more. While some of it can be flowover from Battlenet credits from WoW, the vast majority is just right out of the wallet/credit card. I would almost argue that of the folks still playing, your typical "average" spender has already spent between $3-5K if they've been playing from day 1. Which if you think about it is only around $100-$200/month.
Clan leader at around the beginning of the game had 100K in his pixel cartoon. Resonance is expensive and 10k won’t move that needle very far.
