I always appreciate smaller channels like this because it helps me decide which things are worth getting. Will be trying the metcons and the nano X2 and hopefully I can get a good experience out of them.
@@ListedFit I'll check em out! Been looking around for shoes that work for weightlifting and all day wear, so hopefully those are the ones. Again, i appreciate you and the content. 🙏
Metcon 8 - I am new to working out and have recently started going to the gym for overall fitness. I have flat feet, and I'm wondering if this is beneficial for me?
It feels like we're going towards shoes that are a lot closer to the Nike Metcon Flyknit shoes e.g. the DSX Repper. It's a bit funny since those shoes were generally a bit cheaper than the core range metcons? I had a version of the flyknit metcons that I used for daily wear and gym and they were solid, I wish I'd hunted down another pair. I replaced them with Nano X2s after trying X1s. The metcons (6&7) were a close choice but the wider toe box and comfort of the x2s were what I really liked. The x1s were much better to run in and weren't bad overall but also felt worse on the foot, this was especially noticeably as I managed to give myself a minor sprain on my ankle. I've been off gym for a while and I don't lift very heavy and when I do get to that point I have a pair of the inov8 fast lifts but having a versatile trainer that will be fine as a daily shoe is something I see as useful. I'll probably grab a second pair of X2s if I catch a special.
I bought them before I found this video. I watched previous videos about metcon 8 had great reviews.. I’m a beginner and need a cross training shoe squats and bit of cardio
Great review. I am finding Free Metcon 4 for a discount here in India. Do you think they're good for squats and deadlifts? Also, I couldn't find Any review for Adidas Dropset vs the Metcon 7s.
I loved your review. I am confused to buy m7 or m8. Please let me know your view on the following: 1.) Which has a strong net upper . I felt m7 has a three layered mesh and is stronger than m8. 2.) M7 size wise looks compact and co pared to m8 which looks little bigger. 3.) Which can handle wear and tear for long? As I require a strong shoe. I need it for my gym, I go for the usual 6 days a week workout with each day for different body part. Please let me know your views. Thank you.
I’d say if you can, try them both out. Personally have never had a problem with strength of the upper on any Metcon. My Metcon 4 still look good after years of use come to think of it. I personally don’t think the potential wear and tear should be much of an issue if you’re using either shoe for what they’re made for. I just like the upper on the 7 more.

Honesty is very important, I’ll always give you that!
Try X3 by Reebok if you can, theyre better than the X2 in my opinion. I did a review of them 👍🏾

I need those Nike M7 Amp Enigmas. They haven’t released in the US quite yet 😢
Just picked up my first pair of Metcons today; I went for the 8. Cheers for the review!
Hope you like them

Are they comming with inlays for squats? The metcon 6 does. I use them regulary because of my flexibility.
Your lack of flexibility
For crossfit these are good option?
Are you gonna go for the Nike Metcon 8?
Check out the latest colors here: bit.ly/3POJ5is (aff)
Maybe
Under armour Tribase Reign 4 for the win. I find it more comfortable then metcons.
I really like the look of those Tribase, maybe I'll try them out.
Wanting to buy a good lifting shoe (with occasional heavy lifts on squat and deadlift ) and little bit of cardio here and there
Are the shoe good for deadlift tho
So, Nano X3s for now until we see the 9s release, even with a focus on weightlifting?
Yes, for me, the X3 are a better shoe than the Metcons.
@@ListedFit Nice to hear man.
@@ListedFit I for me reebok nano x3💎 is the best.
I have metcon 7 and I hate hyperlift👎! But the look is better than 8 just look , quality worst .
Are they true to size?
yes
My first metcons 😊

@@ListedFit Thankyou for the revert :)
Hate the Metcon word plastered across the side. It is too narcisstic or something.
Is an upgrade from Metcon 6 ?
I would say so, yes.
really don't like the metcon 8s. i'll take my metcon 7 AMP enigmas ANYDAY.
Yeah, they’re probably the best colour combination of the Metcon 7.
