Love the horn! Makes it sound more like a bus :) And btw it sounds almost like the horns the JUTC buses use in Jamaica. The buses they use are Volvo Jonkheree buses
Dayyyyym that's good. How different are the sound scripts for this from the D40LF's? I feel like some of those should sound more like this but they don't.
In OMSI, very different. The D40LF idles at 650 RPM vs this bus idling at 475 RPM. The max RPM for each gear on this bus is 2200RPM or 2300RPM depending on the the transmission, but the the D40LF goes up to either 1900RPM or 2700RPM. There's also some differences on how the doors and transmissions work themselves, as well as the D40LF having less turbo variables in favor of more brake variables. Speaking of which, this bus lets you either use emergency braking (slam on the brake and let ABS take over) or gradually stop, where as on the D40LF no matter how hard you try, you'll never hear the ABS take over so the transmission whines rather funky when you try to avoid an accident. The startup sequence for the D40LF is also different too, but I think it's safe to say at this point one can't just copy and paste the sounds from the D40LF to this bus and vice-versa. As you can see even the shift points for this Allison is very different.
I love it. Wish I could play this game. unfortunately where I stay the Internet sucks ass. It took4 days to get a 2gb update to download for my Iphone to update via Itunes
The money that these guys receive from mods go towards more mods in the future. So it's like you're buying the ability to have more mods available. When they first started it was only the Classic and Fishbowl, now look at the diversity. That should give you an idea.
Hi good afternoon, I have seen videos of American buses like Nova Bus, TMC, the GMC RTS, and the truth are very precious and I, but I would like if it is not too much trouble you to pass me the Classic GM, MCI Orion V, I would like to have the buses that you have the complete collection of American buses please, thank you and have a good day. :)
cristo caldero yeah. Try to make one. Even trying to figure out how to make the scripts is a pain. Nevermind modeling, texturing, making the scripts, working out script bugs, tweaking sounds, etc.
best engine of all the Detroit desiel s50
excellent video

This Bus is awesome! I didn't realize the Gillig Low Floor Was so long. Where I live, we have 35ft CNG Gillig Low Floors.
There's three lengths:
40 foot, 35 foot, and 29 footers
In OMSI, the first 2 exist.

The Gillig in OMSI seems closer to real life engine/transmission combo. I must congratulate the modders for putting the extra work in.
The powertrain was all me :D
Oh my god the sounds brings me so many memories of the Nabi Busses that AC Transit has here in the Bay Area!

Worth the wait :p
Dash5155 jeez... Lol
In 8 days you'll be able to drive a bus virtually :D
why do you always have to be in first person view
I have a gillig in my place
why does mods cost money
To support the developers, and to pay for models.
