In Italy, we have an opening theme about an old japan anime "Mr Baseball" and the song it's a little bit similar to Crocodile Rock of Sir Elton John ^_^ th-cam.com/video/Gw8I1bJJDZ4/w-d-xo.html
I worked in Las Vegas' Casinos for 42 years. I've had the pleasure of seeing him live 2-X! The first was at the old Aladdin Hotel's Theater; the second was at Caesars Palace when he was promoted as "The Red Piano" and luckily, since I worked in L.V. Casinos for 42 years; I sat one the "first-row" right in the middle. I actually was able to smell his cologne... Imagine that! I feel extremely lucky. May He shine forever!
hippie dylan Nope, sorry, you're both mistaken; the 80's were the best musical decade. Everything in the music was innovative and exciting. You both have good answers-- just wrong:p
Hey Dylan I stupidly hit the wrong button and flagged your comment "No, the 'sixties were best, but you're close." Sorry, but I never said I was clever, after all. I remember the 'sixties, but at the time I was a bit too young for either bike or beer! Ha-Ha!
+Brendan Fletcher Uhhh are you a moron? The 80's ruined music...that was literally one of the dumbest comments I've ever come across on TH-cam. The 60's opened up the flood gates to rock and roll, the 70's fuckin rode the wave and took hold of it and the 80's just plain sucked ass with all the electronic shit. The 80's is what led to the bull shit pop of today like Justin beiber and Katy Perry
Bo Guest No, I do not believe I am a moron. Are you always so rude? The 80's evolved music...it was where amazing and brilliant musicians like Queen, Depeche Mode, Kate Bush, and of course Elton John made tremendous forays into exciting and new electronic and synthesiszed sounds. It's what led to great music of today like Arcade Fire, the Decemberists, White Stripes and Gotye. Justin Beiber, who is literally one single artist of millions, is clearly influenced by many musicians and it is absurd to suggest he has an 80's sound.
I was 16 years old and heard this song on the radio while I was hitch hiking the west coast.. I was in Vegas (1971) when this song came out... Will always remember that!
This performance changed my life for the better. I was feeling very depressed today and I thought about the people in my life. Whether, it would be better if I knew them or did not. Because all I do is let them down. But then I discovered this video and everything changed. Elton John saved my life in a metaphorical sense; before this video my life had no meaning and I was just a speck floating on the soft summer breeze. Now I have grown into a bigger speck that enjoys his life just a little bit more. Thank you Johnny. EVERYONE NEEDS TO HEAR THIS SONG THUMBS UP IF YOU LOVE JESUS
I've always liked this song by Elton John, as well as Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, as well as Rocket Man, and Bennie and the Jets, love these classic songs by Elton John. :)
I was at a Filipino mass at church and one of the songs they sang sounded exactly like Crocodile Rock and it even had the "laaaaa la la la la laaaaaa!" part :P
That song brings backsome awesome memories. When classic rock was at its best and people were carefree and friendly. I don't music and good times will ever be the same after the '80s.
I am a young adult of currently 23, and I listen to this type of classic music everyday and people older than me keep telling me that they think it's weird since people my age are more into modern music, don't get me wrong I like all kinds of music but this one is my jam, oh and I live in Mexico.... it feels great to be different.
I can't get this song out of my head since back in the day when I was only 14 years old now I am 59 and it is still in my head and I know Elton Jhon has a lot of hits but this is my favorite one
BELLA HELTON !!!!
Crocodile Rock was Sir Elton John's 1st #1 song in America in February 1973.It was the first of 6 #1 hits he had during the 1970s.I read in Billboard magazine that Elton and songwriter Bernie Taupin created a song about John's childhood music growing up in the 50s and 60s.All of his influences are in this classic song.
UN TEMA MUY BUENO DEL SIR ELTON JHON..CUANDO RECIEN ESCUCHABA MUSICA CUANDO ENTRABA A TENER USO DE RAZON HERMOSOS RECUERDOS DE MI BARRIO DE BREÑA LIMA-PERU..
Elton sang this at Ipswich football club two weeks ago, the whole crowd sang La La La La it was fab , he still sings and plays really well , best gig I have ever been to
This is the song of my childhood-time. I used to came home from school & put this vinil on, on Papas record-player. Then, i used to go crazy by jumping & screeming on the walls, windows & the cell of our room. I loved that time.
of early Elton John material this song brings back memories of November 1972 & going to see AFC Bournemouth play Charlton Athletic at Dean Court on the 25th November 1972 & winning 3-1 . On the coach home on Radio Solent i heard this gem of a record !!!!!!!!! one of Elton,s best.
Just heard this song on Sirius classic Vinyl. This song is so bittersweet now, it puts me into a momentary depression. I went to elementary school in the 70's and I remember hearing this song in grade school, a kid brought this in for a class party. Now when it plays it catches me off guard because although it's not inherently a depressing song, it's meaning has been transformed by time. It just brings back a flood of memories and I feel like time has passed forever.
My first love, my first boyfriend loved this song. I like Elton but this wasn't one of my favorites of his. He passed away 11 years ago in his 40's. I so wish I would have told him that I really enjoyed our time together. RIP Brad! I love you.
The “La la la la la laaaaa” make me so happy idk why

I remember when rock was young. I had platform shoes and flares, a 750 Honda and lots of beer. The '70's were the best.
A lifetime ago.
hippie dylan Nope, sorry, you're both mistaken; the 80's were the best musical decade. Everything in the music was innovative and exciting. You both have good answers-- just wrong:p

Leaving aside any homosexual undertones, this is a great song and John is from Pinner and you can't get any better than that.
Trevor Wong Thumbs up if you love Elton John*

Forget about it. It's the best movie I've seen in a very long time. I cried throughout the entire movie. I had to see it twice. Imagine that!
That's perfectly understandable
Me too. Excellently written!

This was the first Elton John song I remember hearing when i was a kid which made me a fan since then.
Five years old in the basement singing like a lunatic
Ah found it! Heard this over the speakers in the store this morning and it struck my nostalgic childhood bone
I can't get this song out of my head since back in the day when I was only 14 years old now I am 59 and it is still in my head and I know Elton Jhon has a lot of hits but this is my favorite one
Me too and I was only a kid of 4 when that song was released but... proud to have lived that time!!!

I was fortunate enough to have grown up in the 70's, it was a great time for music especially for me. This song brings back lots of fond memories.
This is the first 45 I ever bought, in early 1973, when I was 11 years old. Still a great song after all these years.
Moja ulubiona piosenka Eltona z lat mojej młodości.
Wonderful real rock sound.
Only Elton could it
I admire Elton and his old songs
I remember dancing my heart out with friends to this song!! We may have not been good dancers but we had fun and let loose to this tune!!
You just HAVE to rock out to this tune !!

Elton John is legitimately one of the best musicans of all time. Right up there with The Beatles, Weird Al, The Bobs, and ABBA.
That's accurately
Michael Jackson and Queen are also up there as well
Elton sang this at Ipswich football club two weeks ago, the whole crowd sang La La La La it was fab , he still sings and plays really well , best gig I have ever been to

Saw Elton last night live in Sac California and he did an encore of this song!

back when Elton could really rock, this and "saturday night's alright for fighting" always gets me
See him doing this live in 1972, at The Sundown in North London. Just brilliant!!
Who can be sad listening this song???😯
Its beautiful ❤❤❤❤
This was Elton Johns best song ever.
Fabulous record. Elton has a great ear for a melody.
For stealing melodies, I guess. Half of this song is ripped off from Let's Dance (Chris Montez) and Speedy Gonzalez (Pat Boone).

One of the greatest songs ever made
One of the first classic of the great Elton..this light, inspired, springtime pop song..great 70's song..
One of my favorites....
In the 70's I was so happy with the Music, we took it for granted that the Music would always be Music and good Music.
Lindíssima, jamais a esquecerei, pois foi o tema do meu primeiro amor!...
The song we often heard at San Diego Navy Boot Camp way back 1973...listening to it brings back many good & crazy memories.
