If it’s keeps closing after you press play from steam, try launching from shortcut or folder instead

Hey man 👋 Just wondering if I've made some sort of error with installing Empire at War to my external harddrive. As every time I attempt to launch AOTCW by pressing play on Steam, it simply doesn't launch the game, any idea what could be the issue here?

@@c_t7869 I’ve seen similar things but after tinkering it works fine, for me something like uninstalling and reinstalling should work try both the mod and the game, if those don’t work ask in the aotcw discord and they will help!

Try fixing resolution. Had to do that for my empire total war mods
