Augusta County, VA Supercell Chase 6.17.24

This storm was initially a straight line wind threat, low end June thunderstorm. The storm split in two and we chased the northern split - eventually giving us a nice wall cloud. With clear rotation and rapid upward motion, we stayed on this cell for a good hour or so. Eventually dying off, the focus was to our east on a cell that rapidly intensified near Waynesboro. After filming a momentary downpour, and possible hail-core, we decided to just enjoy the scenery around us. Filmed on June 17, 2024.
