    My generation cant understand the truth and intelligence of Jims words. I love his poetry more than any Doors songs but I still love the Doors.

    Only Jim could make just a few words so deep and meaningful, beautiful.. And in his voice you can just get lost...

    This isn’t a poem of Jim’s... it’s all cut up and put together. It’s not bad but it’s not his work or intention. The original poem was far more sexual.

      Can u show me the original one please ? And who is the author

    • @MrFartboy79
      @MrFartboy79 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@venichurghulashvili6712 I maybe phrased that wrong. It’s taken from one of Morrison’s works... but it’s completely chopped up.

    I like the piano.What I don't like is the chuzpe of the editor of these whimfully selected words from Jim's poems according to h i s mind which obviously is n o t Jim's mind.
    As incoherent as a poet's words and their juxtaposition often might feel ,there is a clear invisible thread u n i q u e to each poet in the way he or she adds words.
    It is an i n s u l t to Jim's identity and authority in regards to intellectual property to take his words out of context...basically assuming that their juxtaposition never had any meaning anyway.
    You can do this with herbs to prepare a meal...a little basil here, some oregano there and some thyme there...mix it as you want..but you can n o t dissecate Jim's words and thoughts and make them into some poetic construct of your own choice ..even if his wonderful and unique voice could just read names and phonenumbers from a telephone book and add some piano play ....people still would be mesmerized.
    This is musical fotoshopping of Jim's genius ...an act of p i r a c y in regards to intellectual property rights.
    Sounds good ..feels good..maybe like having sex with a professional sexworker..but it's f a k e .
