04:59 I currently have several M42 to NEX adapters and all of them have three little grub screws that allow adjustment of the mount to align the lens barrel with the camera. Maybe some cheap adapters don't have this capability but every one I have ever used over the years does - as does the one shown in your video!
great review Richard, as always! Wow! TTArtisan doing great things again. I think the Meyer Goerlitz Primoplan uses the three element design too and also gets the bubbles. How cool is the M42 😎

@@TheRealRichardWong I have a lot of adaptors. they make your lens bigger and heaver and not comfortable for moving around. there is different alternatives without adapters and similar characteristics. we all know that it is question of time when TTartisan will make the same lens for all other cameras
okay fair enough, But if TTArtisan releases this lens in Z mount, the size will be virtually identical to this lens in M/M42 mount + a Z mount adaptor because the flange distance has to be identical.

Yes! Most of the lenses are so technically great these days and lacks the individual character

Hopefully they launch a Z mount version. Would look beautiful on the Nikon Zf.
These Chinese lenses are a lottery quality wise. Mine is sharper than yours but, unlike your 9mm 5.6, mine is way softer in the corners
yes, the lower price/ cost does usually mean the variations would be a bit bigger.

No, it's a full frame lens with old M42 and Leica M mount, , but it can be easily adapted to any camera including micro four thirds
