I am so saddened by this I can't find words! Funny, talented, beautiful and the epitome of a what it means to be a star. She wowed us at Muny Opera in Irene when during a rain delay, she came out and entertained the audience. And she did it twice because there was a second delay. I also found out that her daughter Carrie Fisher was in the chorus! Can't believe they are gone. Prayers and love to their friends and family!
I did not cry when my own mother died, but I'm sure as hell in tears now. God rest your sweet soul, Debbie. A legendary entertainer and a mother who refused to let Carrie go to heaven alone.
I can see an audio production with Ashleigh Ball, Peter New, Lee Tocker, Sam Vincent, Vincent Tong, Trevor Devall, Michelle Creber, Tara Strong and Kazumi Evans.
First time for me watching any part of this movie. Music by Meredith Wilson (the Music Man)? I can hear that. Also, somehow this reminds me of Oliver. Even though I've no familiarity with this film, it seems so familiar. I was 10 in 1964 - watched early musicals and Hayley Mills films.
Ever since I was little this song has been a favorite. Thank you for posting this in it's entirety. Most people leave out the "great whore invasion" thank you for leaving it in!
The blocking for this number is mind blowing .
BEST MOVIE EVER.

Her acting and storytelling is on point in so many ways.
It's a wonderful musical! Lighten up. You must have your own issues....
Just got through watching the whole movie. You can see Carrie in her a lot. Definitely worth purchasing. A great blast from the past.

The original rousing anthem to alchoholism.
Debbie is fabulous here. Far better than the wretched Tammy Grimes on Broadway.

Wasn't this song used in the Golden Horseshoe Jamboree at Disneyland?
one of those "fancy girls' is Mary Ann Niles. I didn't know that; I looked it up. But imdb didn't say who the other two were. Any ideas?
The one smoking is Maria Karnilova.
Remaster!!!!!
