I think the funniest thing about this show is how everyone spends so lavishly on dying entertainment/tech
Nan was such an effective negotiator. Her faux-humble schtick was totally transparent, yes, but she was extremely cool-headed, always stuck to the narrative, and kept her house largely unified and in order - all unlike Logan.
Logan offered up to 25 billion with editorial protection, she fucked up the negotiation and now she is selling it for half the value, to whoever can pay. And she went with the RoyKids, an alliance that lasted a couple months and most likely cant (or will not) pay? Lmao, she is terrible at this, Bet Mason buys her dying channel for 1 billion tops.
She is also a big rich hypocrite. Taking credit for the food as if she was an old mama that prepared the food herself, when its a cook. She is a phony.

Throughout the show Roman seems to be the one with the best business sense. He also is the best at reading and understanding people. Logan always took him to Mattson as they got along great. He was the one who was closest to Mencken. He had the killer instinct Ken supposedly lacked. But for most of his life he had barely any interest in the business and had his weird complexes which got into his way when working with his father and Gerri. He would have been the best successor out of the 4.
@@SolonRoman is a very good negotiator. He mostly being friendly to his opponent first and then he slowly giving them numbers until they changed their mind and get the deal even closer of what they expected. Except for the time he's being pissed off to Mattson as he's still grieving of his dad's death and he needs someone to be his spacegoat. Meanwhile, Kendall is mostly talking over his opponent, being too aggresive by shouting and never let them speak and make the opponent uncomfortable and leave and mostly he's thinking he wins over non existent arguments while Shiv is too direct and mostly using her feelings and opinion which is a big No-No in negotiation. Roman can be a capable CEO if he stops being a pervert, jerking off and hitting on Gerri every time.

These 3 are such jokes
They were actually very talented people on their own right, with Shiv ptobably being the least perceptive of the 3. Kendall especially could've run the company well, he just kept getting unlucky throughout. The only reason people say they aren't serious is because it's something Logan said. It doesn't have much credibility though he just bullies everyone for no reason.
@@knurdyob in this episode these numpties go from launching some platform (that they've clearly been working on for a while) to buying pierce just to stick it to Logan. They never again mention either of those things.
What competence? They look competent because of the advantages they're born with. In the real world these three wouldn't be close to anything significant.
@@vivsha3498 they are very competent at manipulating people, Kendall is great with public speaking, roman is very persuasive one one on one talks and shiv, well shiv is just shiv, but she can still be clever at times, like when she got a rape victim to not come forward just through her social and manipulative skills, how many people could pull that off? Not a lot, even with the wealth. I guarantee you, if you throw their wealth to most most people, that wouldn't make them good at talking and manipulating others just because they're rich.
By that same logic, you can also point out all of the dumb things other characters did. Logan went from giving his company to Kendall, to changing his mind and favoring roman, to changing his mind and considering shiv, to not wanting shiv because he saw she talked too much (he was manipulating shiv to get her on his side, but he was also considering her as a successor, as we can see when he talks with rhea about it). terrible perceptive skills if you ask me, the company was bought by a scammer in the end because he was an incompetent father. Look at Pierce too, her company went from being bought at 25, she changed her mind because of some jokes (???), then her company was almost sold for 10 by Logan's kids, but in the end she bet on the wrong horse as the kids didn't buy it in the end. The kids are just as pathetic as anyone around them. But the characters in the show insist otherwise, so we as the audience tend to believe them. How many times have you seen comments that are just copying almost word for word what some character said? they are all tools, but very manipulative tools. not everyone can be a good manipulator.
@@vivsha3498They mention the Hundred a few more times in the episodes leading up to Logan’s death, at which point they’re looking at inheriting Waystar and the Hundred is gone.
Pierce they talk about all across the final season. It never stopped being their plan, it’s just that with their dad dying they found themselves going back and forth on whether to keep ATN as well.
After what happened on finale, their projects are absolutely failed and abandoned.
They abandon to buy PGN as Nan Pierce is a hardcore feminist and she hates men. She won't corporate with Kendall and Roman but want it more with Shiv. But, Shiv has no experience in the company and also she's pregnant now. And Nan must be the one who announced Tom as the "culprit" of Mecken being The new President because she learned that Shiv and Tom are getting divorced but never happened as Logan blocked all of the divorce attorney's numbers. Also, Tom is the new CEO of Waystar and Waystar is getting more modern with streaming service from Gojo. In other way, PGN is gonna dead soon as they're still doing old ways and has a leader who is a hardcore feminist.
The Hundred was Roman's idea and then Kendall interfened to take part of it. Roman is mostly codependent to the others, he can't be good leader. He won't launch it because Kendall and him are not going well anymore. He used to look up at Kendall until Kendall pushed his stitch wound and realize that Kendall becomes just like their dad. Roman has enough and decided to get out of his Stockholm Syndrome and he needs a lot of therapy. He's also need to be prepared of Gerri's accusation in the future for sexually arrested him and also she will leak his dick pics to the public unless he apologized to Gerri personally.
Living Plus which was Kendall's idea and also the project that Logan wanted to launch for a long time also probably will be removed by Mattson as Mattson taking over the company and against about the project from get go. And Kendall who pitched the idea isn't in the company anymore.
In the end of the day, those 3 are just kids who are trapped on adult's body. They are treating the company like their own playground. The way they want CEO position is like a kid begging for their favorite toy. But, they lack of maturity, responsibility and teamwork. And also, they all got abused and neglected by their father since they were kids. They also mostly disrespect their partner because they were raised by 2 neglected parents.
Connor is their half brother and also got neglected a lot by Logan and also having his mom on asylum since he was a kid but he's never giving up, still has positivity and also keep going. He's also treating Willa with respect, never cheats on her or even hurt her feelings. He tries his best to cheer her up over her crappy writings. Willa is mostly using Connor for his wealth and security but deep down, she starts to respect him as a person. She at least honest to him about what she feels to him unlike Shiv who keeps gaslighting Tom every time. Connor also said that if Willa leaving him for good, he's ready because he's very used to be alone while the other 3 is still carving for Logan's attention which they never get as Logan left them with nothing. They become worthless on society without their daddy's status anymore.

Last laugh? They went from PGM being worth 25 billion to 9 billion and then getting offered 10 which never happened. The company was losing money for two years straight last we heard. Nan lost.

She was so upset to see her former CEO, Rhea sided with Logan and fired her and she wanted Logan to give Shiv the CEO position eventhough Shiv has no experience on the company.
Also, Shiv's telling her that she and Tom are gonna getting divorce which is another moronic moment to Shiv to tell her personal life to the others and the other using it as advantage like how Mattson also told Tom that he wants to fuck Shiv. And when PGN announced Tom as the "culprit" of Mecken being the president, I bet it was Nan's idea! And also because of Tom is the current head of the ATN news.
Nan won't corporate with Kendall and Roman and want Shiv to take charge but I bet she will be dissapointed that Shiv probably abandon the deal and she's also pregnant with Tom's baby and also more dissapointed that Tom is the new CEO of Waystar. And she will be a desperate lonely old woman who broke with no kids and no husband on her side. And I don't think her cousins and relative is interested to continue her business anymore. (As far as I remember, her husband had passed away or she got divorced and she has no kids.)
Three never-worked-a-aday-in-their-lives rich kids acting like they're these business sharks while playing around with their dad's money... it's so funny.
