I've bought a lot of luxury in recent years, and made my share of mistakes. One of the things I've learned is that if there's something on my wishlist that I haven't been able to get because of price or availability, NOT to buy the compromise. Even if it's lovely, it will pale in comparison, and the original item will remain my heart's desire. I've sold things that I've never used because they were compromises. Wait for the Constance, in exactly the size and colour you want. It will be even sweeter when it's yours.
I think the Celine Triomphe is stunning. I think it is even more attractive and "quiet luxury" than the Hermes Constance and the Cartier. Also, the Polene bag is on my wishlist. In addition, I think the "Diane" by Joseph Duclos is something that you should look at as it does remind me somewhat of the Celine, Hermes and Cartier styles you have shown here.
The Polene bag is a work of art! I own one and it is gorgeous. I have the large size and it works for me but I do carry a few more items than you. The bag makes such an impact when you carry it because of it's unique shape and it will always be a timeless beauty.
I came for the bags, but was blown away by the clothing! They're literally pieces of art and you're such a beautiful canvas upon which to display them. I don't blame you for not playing the Hermes game, but I would hold out for that Constance!
I think that first dress is the most spectacular thing I’ve seen you wear in years. I mean you’ve had some lovely outfits but that one has to have been made for you. There’s no other way to explain how perfect it is on you.

Hi Sophie ! I’m in fashion and currently viewing collections for S’24. The Chanel jeans are making their way to the contemporary brands. You will soon see very similar versions from quality brands at a very reasonable price - no logos but rather a print with similar wash. They look quite nice and I think that’s a better way to hop onto that trend. Oh and regarding the bags I have to say seeing the Celine next to the Hermes I think the Celine is looking nicer - more feminine and elegant. 😊
I am only 3 mins but those dresses make me think of something Sema from “and Just like that” would wear but way more toned down if you weren’t feeling as bold as her but liked the silhouette

As for the pretty Lady Dior bag with floral print, the price is high, but do consider getting it preloved. The rest of the clothes bought or on your list, I would gladly forget or return. That first white dress that you said would be good for a bride, or winter event, looks drop dead gorgeous on you. And I love the pink chanel knapsack but then I like slouchy bags. I want to thank you for upgrading my style. I only ever wore slouchy bags but from watching your chanel, I realized that I also need sleak structured bags. This year my new primary winter bag was sleak and strurctured, and my new primay summer bag was slouchy. Winter feels more formal to me than summer. Thank you, Sophie.

I am a big fan of satchel bags too. One of my most worn bags is the Pochette Métis as it’s very pretty in the empriente leather and so practical. Of the ones you showed my favourite is the Celine. It’s very understated yet the clasp is eye catching even when you don’t know what it is. I don’t like the Chanel jeans, sorry. The next luxury item on my list is a medium Lady Dior in white. They are very expensive now but when you think about it they are still only a little over half the price of a brand new Chanel Jumbo and around the same price as LV’s most premium bag the Capucines, and the quality of the Lady leaves the Capucines way behind. So I do think they are still worth it. For how long, who knows.

Hi Sophie, I have the small Polene and love it. I have been using it almost every day during my one month holiday trip. Initially, I thought it was a little small because the opening is rather tight, but it gets more maleable with time. I can fit my phone, a middle size full wallet, my Kindle without its cover, lipstick, mascara, sunglasses without a case, a bottle of mosquito repellent, and keys. I think the bigger size, though I don't own it, might be a little bulky if you want to wear it, crossbody. I certainly recommend the small one. Also, the quality is amazing - not a single sign of wear, though I have treated it very roughly, including squashing it into my suitcase.
Hi, I hope you are feeling better. Yeah, Dior copied that pattern from the ratan chairs in Paris, so he was not able to copyright it. The shape of the bags you like is classic and will never go out of style. My personal favorite in this shape is the Constance, but I know it is not an easy bag to get. I hope you are able to get it.
I know it’s much cheaper than a bag but bought a pair of Celine Triomphe sunglasses about 2 weeks ago… could only buy them online. Anyway have them 2 weeks and I’m so disappointed with them…honestly you’d get much sturdier sunglasses on the high street… but def not getting quality with luxury items. I did get a good discount being my only consolation but put me off getting the Triomphe bag now…scratched off the wishlist!

i love the celine, especially in the cream color , definitely order the polene, order both to try but i think the smaller probably better. don’t spend 5k on a dior , i can only dream to have one, but i can’t have both so holidays and making memories win every time x

Regarding the polene bag, I do not have this exact model but I do own few polene mini bag (mini umi and numero 1 nano in different color) You can fit quiet a lot. For the numero neuf mini, the opening is pretty small.... and the top handle is rigid.
In my opinion the Celine box was a more understated version of the Triomphe.. would recommend the Box in a heartbeat! Resale value isn't the same as Constance though, but if you buy to use... 🤷🏻♀️
I’m in a similar boat as you, I asked my SA for a Constance 18 in vert bosphore (teal) GHW, but while waiting started eyeing the Celine medium classic box bag (from phoebe philo days) in Amazone (deep green) GHW. these are very similar bags in design, function, size, and color. I can’t really justify having both in my collection, but the C18 may or may not eventuate, so now I’m debating whether I should move forward w/ the Celine box since this style of bag is getting phased out in favor of the triomph and therefore will only be available for a dwindling amount of time.
Buy the Celine bag :) you can always sell it if you get the Constance! That way you are not gonna think about Hermes and its gonna come to you and you will also enjoy Celine :)

On the small polene numero neuf, please believe each and every single review which says that they are hard to get things in and out of! That said, it is such a cute crossbody, and fits so much (i have put in my umbrella and sunglasses plus all the other essentials). The larger size feels too large to be worn cross body, and i really wish they had something in between. If you can get used to the opening, i think it's a beautiful bag and i do recommend.

I like the quilted jacket. Hello, the Celine bag in the cartier I'm not too sure about the dress, but it does look great on you. The white top is alright, it's just a bit Busy. The book tote is nice, just too expensive and out of my budget. The Chanel backpack is very pretty just too expensive for me. The jeans are fun but i dont wear denim jeans that much so i would pass. Jacket , add a Dior scarf and you are golden, The first gown is out of this world and will always be remembered and that can be the issue. The second gown is a no. The tops, yes, yes so vestal, Those jeans are going to be something you put on and then take off and continue to be conflicted,, do you need the stress? Medium Dior? Get your love. The Fendi, dated, meh. The wish list bag with evolve and you will be surprised how it does.
Sophie, your taste is perfect. I just will never get a Hermes. They are so high priced, and there are so many beautiful bags. I actually love that Cartier. But the next bag on my list is Longchamp 3D S Crossbidy. For some reason that one is calling me. Who knows what goes on in my handbag brain.😅
Hermes Constance, Celine, Cartier… it really determines whether you want quiet luxury or loud luxury… also the leather quality, the resale value to justify the exorbitant price of these bags.. Personally I don’t like a divider in the bags.. I would actually gravitate to the Cartier.. it seems roomier n I like that logo too. 😜
I have several Polene bags. You’ll be amazed at the quality and they wear beautifully. The one on your wishlist may give you Bottega Jodie vibes at first. It’s a bit stiff and hard to get in to, but with wear it becomes very pliant.

Hi Sophie! I recently bought the polene Numero Neuf in the mini size and love it. I bought it for their leather quality, design and no logo! The mini fits a lot but it wouldn’t fit two phones. The opening is quite tight so that’s why maneuvering two phones in and out would be quite difficult. I don’t have the larger version but I watched a few YT videos on the size comparison and it was very helpful!
Love the video Sophie! Also, what if there were another trend of even smaller bags than the nano (the "pico") size, that could double as earrings, and you could fit breath mints in them?

Similar to the Celine and the Cartier bag, I own a Coach Bandit bag. It’s very sturdy and elegant, similar shape as well. I suggest checking that out because it was about $550 USD
Not crazy about the first dress but the second dress is cute & original and I love it with the belt. I have a lot of wish lists...😆 Jewelry list, bag list, shoe list, book list...At the top of my shoe list is a pair of Chloe platforms. At the top of the bag list is a taupe colored bag. CH Carolina Herrera, Tod's or Hermes. I will probably settle for the CH or Tod's because Hermes will have to wait till I am done putting my kids through college.
Sophie - I may be super biased bc I’ve loved Polene since before it’s this well known - but get that bag, you won’t regret it. The stitching is INSANELY detailed, leather is luxurious. For work - go with the medium if you want Neuf. Otherwise I’d actually suggest going with Uno instead, it’s extremely roomy even for the Nano (smallest) one.
Because of you, I finally dipped into Dior. Got the Miss Dior Mini bag (it's a WOC) and a matching mitzvah for the handle. Def want a Lady D-Lite (love the Birds but the price may mean pre-loved), casual shoes, & some sweaters/jumpers. Not much else. Surprised you haven't snagged the little backpack. You've been obsessed for a minute. Have you not inquired about it because your inside voice is telling you "no"? And the pants...please don't. Crazy expensive and how often would you wear them?

I have the mini Polene neuf and love it. It can be finicky to get into because of the design. You kind of have to put things in vertically and then turn them horizontal BUT it does hold a surprising amount of stuff (keys, cardholder, phone, ear pods). If you're looking for a work bag, I would go for the small over the mini

I love the Fendigraphy, it's definitely on my wishlist but in the small size like you already have. When I tried one on in store, the SA added a strap on it, so I'm pretty sure you CAN wear your small one crossbody if you want, you'd just have to add your own strap. Or maybe they only added the D rings on the newer ones?
I have both sizes of the Polene and the large size is actually not as easy to use because you can tend to over fill it. The small will definitely fit your two phones wallet and pouch etc
Do you think you would wear the pink chanel? Do you wear the light purple backpack a lot because it sort of serves a similar purpose. Also you should look up isabel marant elda bag, its a great high end alt for the celine bag.
Hi Sophie! I’ve always admired the Constance but I fell in love with the celine Triomphe bag when I got mine. Just so you know the triomphe shoulder bag comes in 3 sizes! Mini (super tiny and can fit AirPods and cards basically), teen is the small size, and classique is the larger size. I have a teen but I would love to add classique size to fit more stuff. It’s on the wishlist lol

Yes to Cartier or Celine but if you're after Hermes, I'd rather wait than waste money on something that is not 100 % what you want.

The larger size feels too large to be worn cross body, and i really wish they had something in between. If you can get used to the opening, i think it's a beautiful bag and i do recommend.
I do own a Polene bag. The leather is amazing.
My wishlist has the Fendigraphy in medium size.
BTW- I love the first dress - it’s such a statement dress and looked gorgeous in it!!😮

The white top is alright, it's just a bit Busy.
The book tote is nice, just too expensive and out of my budget.
The Chanel backpack is very pretty just too expensive for me.

Jacket , add a Dior scarf and you are golden, The first gown is out of this world and will always be remembered and that can be the issue. The second gown is a no. The tops, yes, yes so vestal, Those jeans are going to be something you put on and then take off and continue to be conflicted,, do you need the stress? Medium Dior? Get your love. The Fendi, dated, meh. The wish list bag with evolve and you will be surprised how it does.
Sophie, your taste is perfect. I just will never get a Hermes. They are so high priced, and there are so many beautiful bags. I actually love that Cartier. But the next bag on my list is Longchamp 3D S Crossbidy. For some reason that one is calling me. Who knows what goes on in my handbag brain.😅
Hermes Constance, Celine, Cartier… it really determines whether you want quiet luxury or loud luxury… also the leather quality, the resale value to justify the exorbitant price of these bags.. Personally I don’t like a divider in the bags.. I would actually gravitate to the Cartier.. it seems roomier n I like that logo too. 😜

I have several Polene bags. You’ll be amazed at the quality and they wear beautifully.
The one on your wishlist may give you Bottega Jodie vibes at first. It’s a bit stiff and hard to get in to, but with wear it becomes very pliant.

Hi Sophie! Loved the “Dior” jacket, it looks great! I thought the white top with the short sleeves made you appear “bulky”, maybe it’s the cleavage, I’m not a fan. Apparently the quality of Polene is good! No to the jeans. I mean, how many times would you really wear them? I think maybe you’ll grow tired of them. Hermes for the win always but Celine is also chef’s kiss. 😘😘😘

Hi Sophie! I recently bought the polene Numero Neuf in the mini size and love it. I bought it for their leather quality, design and no logo! The mini fits a lot but it wouldn’t fit two phones. The opening is quite tight so that’s why maneuvering two phones in and out would be quite difficult. I don’t have the larger version but I watched a few YT videos on the size comparison and it was very helpful!
Love the video Sophie! Also, what if there were another trend of even smaller bags than the nano (the "pico") size, that could double as earrings, and you could fit breath mints in them?

I guess most of us have wishlists that we update regularly. I can't decide between two different Polene bags at the moment so I'll wait a couple of weeks to think about which one I like more. Their prices are AMAZING

Similar to the Celine and the Cartier bag, I own a Coach Bandit bag. It’s very sturdy and elegant, similar shape as well. I suggest checking that out because it was about $550 USD
Not crazy about the first dress but the second dress is cute & original and I love it with the belt. I have a lot of wish lists...😆 Jewelry list, bag list, shoe list, book list...At the top of my shoe list is a pair of Chloe platforms. At the top of the bag list is a taupe colored bag. CH Carolina Herrera, Tod's or Hermes. I will probably settle for the CH or Tod's because Hermes will have to wait till I am done putting my kids through college.
Sophie - I may be super biased bc I’ve loved Polene since before it’s this well known - but get that bag, you won’t regret it. The stitching is INSANELY detailed, leather is luxurious. For work - go with the medium if you want Neuf. Otherwise I’d actually suggest going with Uno instead, it’s extremely roomy even for the Nano (smallest) one.
Because of you, I finally dipped into Dior. Got the Miss Dior Mini bag (it's a WOC) and a matching mitzvah for the handle. Def want a Lady D-Lite (love the Birds but the price may mean pre-loved), casual shoes, & some sweaters/jumpers. Not much else.
Surprised you haven't snagged the little backpack. You've been obsessed for a minute. Have you not inquired about it because your inside voice is telling you "no"? And the pants...please don't. Crazy expensive and how often would you wear them?

I have the mini Polene neuf and love it. It can be finicky to get into because of the design. You kind of have to put things in vertically and then turn them horizontal BUT it does hold a surprising amount of stuff (keys, cardholder, phone, ear pods). If you're looking for a work bag, I would go for the small over the mini

@@SophieShohetOfficial I tried them both at their New York location and while they are both lovely, it really just depends on your lifestyle. The small was bigger in person than I expected. Also, the mini makes a great evening clutch with strap removed. Take care.
I love the Fendigraphy, it's definitely on my wishlist but in the small size like you already have. When I tried one on in store, the SA added a strap on it, so I'm pretty sure you CAN wear your small one crossbody if you want, you'd just have to add your own strap. Or maybe they only added the D rings on the newer ones?
I have both sizes of the Polene and the large size is actually not as easy to use because you can tend to over fill it. The small will definitely fit your two phones wallet and pouch etc
Do you think you would wear the pink chanel? Do you wear the light purple backpack a lot because it sort of serves a similar purpose. Also you should look up isabel marant elda bag, its a great high end alt for the celine bag.
I read where someone has the mini Polene and it's challenging to get anything in the bag.

Hi Sophie! I’ve always admired the Constance but I fell in love with the celine Triomphe bag when I got mine. Just so you know the triomphe shoulder bag comes in 3 sizes! Mini (super tiny and can fit AirPods and cards basically), teen is the small size, and classique is the larger size. I have a teen but I would love to add classique size to fit more stuff. It’s on the wishlist lol
