I'm so jealous that you have Record of a Spaceborn Few! I can't wait to read that book.

Hi the ones you bought from the works, you mentioned the other books you have on your shelf, do you have to read those as well to keep in with the story? Xx

Lisa Catchpole the way the Study/ Glass series are meant to be read are Poison Study, Magic Study, Fire Study, Storm Glass, Sea Glass, Spy Glass, Shadow Study, Night Study and then Dawn Study. I read the Glass series as a stand alone many years ago so it is possible but I think to get the best version of the story you should read them in the order listed above. Maria V Snyder talks about the order to read them and why they ended up this way on her website so worth reading that too for more info 😁

Also, I want to get into manga... What would you recommend I should start with? Xx

Lisa Catchpole it depends on what kind of things you are interested in. If you want something magical then something like Sailor Moon is a good place to start. Good action ones I've found are My Hero Academia and Bleach (This one is crazy long so be warned!) Some of my favourite contemporaries/slice of life manga are Waiting for Spring and Horimiya (Horimiya has some good humour too) I don't read a lot of darker manga as I'm more of a magical girl or slice of life type reader haha

Finding the Plot of my Life I've heard a bit about Sailor Moon 🙂 I will have a look in the Blackpool store and see what they have got. Are manga the ones that you read back to front?
I love your channel btw xx

Lisa Catchpole Have a look and see what you think. There is so much manga to chose from today compared to when I started reading it over a decade ago so I have barely scratched the surface.
Thanks for the channel love 💜 it is much appriecated

Lisa Catchpole (and yes manga is read back to front! It's really easy once you get used to it)
