- የኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ ከሐምሌ 22 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም እስከ መስከረም 30 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም ድረስ በአራት ዙር 282,459,436 ዶላር ለበርካታ ደንበኞች ቢደለድልም ካዘጋጀው የውጪ ምንዛሬ ውስጥ ደንበኞቹ የተጠቀሙት በአማካይ 28 በመቶ መሆኑን ገልጿል፡፡
ከፍተኛ የውጪ ምንዛሬ ፍላጎት ባለበት የኢትዮጵያ አሁናዊ ኢኮኖሚ ግዙፊ የንግድ ባንክ ያቀረበውን የውጪ ምንዛሬ የመውሰድ ፍላጎት ለምን ከ28% በላይ አላለፈም?

@@ggvideonow1 i trust you. But when you go to bank and ask them, they wouldnt release it as they promised. Rather they put lots of obstacles, so you wouldnt get for the time you need. You'll be forced to turn ur face to the usual black and i think that's why the parallel market still performs strongly. CBE and others say good words in media, but u face hurdles to access when u visit them.

I think you brushed it but didn’t really address the elephant in the room. The main problem is the highly decreased purchasing power of the population. Why would an importer buy dollars with double cost when he’s sure that he can’t sell the product? The economy is in a depression resulting in a very low purchasing power leading to importers being discouraged from acquiring dollars knowing there the market is not in a position to buy their imported products. The economy is in a standstill and the government is not capable or willing to address the core issues. If things continue the dollar may lose its value against birr for lack of demand. high import is a sign of higher economic activity which is now lacking
