    Thannks for this. I had to use 3 tutorials before I could make it work - thankfully I have plenty of 3904s around.

    VR to change the current going to the capacitor will change the speed of the fader cycle(I’m sure you know that). I used this circuit to vactrol a lm386 input for a guitar vibrato circuit works wonders.

      I almost made a voltage controlled filter version before I discovered this circuit lol.

    Hi is there a way to increase the output voltage besides changing the resistor for the LED?

      A CMOS 555 timer, like the LMC555 can output the full supply voltage as ling as you don't need much current. Which is the case in this circuit.

    Sir can I use bc547 instead

      Sure can! Looks like the bc547 collector and emitter are on opposite sides of where they are on the 2N3904 though. So you should have the flat side face in the opposite direction of what I've shown.
