- Swaradaa proudly presents 'ajeeb dastan hai ye' - a musical tribute to The Great Shankar - Jaikishan at Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Auditorium , Parle East on Sunday 21st April @ 8.30 pm onwards.

We are glad to inform you that the singers who will grace this show with their wonderful voices are Playback singer Sanjeevani Bhelande, Srikant Narayan and Mukhtar Shah. This show will be performed with a 14 piece orchestra, with well known music conductor Chirag Panchal. Compere - Sandeep Panchwatkar.

All three singers are superb and so is the orchestra..
Anchoring was a bit lengthy....
Shankar Jaikishan were as much to Lata Mangeshkar as to Rafi Sahab...
*Rafi Sahab* redefined the playback singing in early 50s ...
Shankar Jaikishan were real trend setters and were more or less confined to traditional music since 1948 till early 60s ....
After Baiju Bawra in 1951, they discovered that there is one singer who can transcend the current style of playback singing and truly redefine what is playback singing...
They knew here is one singer who can truly shape their dreams of giving their best music of all genres...
And that singer was *Mohammed Rafi* whom they knew can sing any and every type of song that they want to compose...
Their association went on to become the greatest and the most successful combination of a singer & music composer....

Compering is very long please make it short if possible
The Compere Mr.Panchwatkar is talking full sense and giving much needed information which the audience is not conversant with. Patience dear 🙂

Awara is NOT 1961, a decade earlier. Any SJ lover wouldn't be amiss by a decade...
Anchoring is too much lengthy and weildy. Cut short the anchoring so we can enjoy the orchestra and 🎵🎶 music.
