thank you, great help. One criticism, it would have be great if you had a highlighted curser or a circle around what you were pushing rather than just saying "push down here"... wheres down here? other than that cheers

Hey again, Natasha! I know right?! I use apps all the time, I was even in the Game Industry and CREATED game apps on mobile devices since 2010! And didn’t guess they were buttons! I am really glad you found the Milky Way dots through this! Thanks for watching one of my webinar replays! 😃 -Aaron

Oh my goodness, I've used some complex pc programs and learn it very well and yet, I'm amazed on how many features this app has, I had it just for a day and is going to be extremely useful. By the way if you press and hold on the timeline, it will mangify and let you move more precisely,

How timely… Just as I am watching this video (for the second time), I received an email from Photopills telling me that they have just released version 2.6, which now utilizes Google maps! Yippee!

I’m sure I’m gonna have to go back and watch this video several times to fully understand how to use Photo Pills but how do I tell the app which way I want to stand or face or is it wherever I put the orange pin that is the direction I want to be or face?

Great videos-thank you! I believe an extended fist is roughly 15 degrees, with thumb over top.

You go a bit fast for me, but I have learned a lot thanks. Still not sure what the AR is and how to use it to its full extent.

Really well done - THANKS! Doesn't apply in all ways to Android of course (e.g., there is no orange/blue/daylight layer on the map in Planner that I can find), but extremely helpful in most ways. Huge effort on your part - much appreciated.

Thank you, AerialLensVideo! I really need to buy an Android device and check what is different if anything between the iOS version and android version. Talking Rafael Pons it didn’t seem like the versions would have differences like that but maybe it just is something that is coming and couldn’t go in yet. I hope to find that answer out soon! Thanks for the kind words and for watching despite the differences! 😃 -Aaron

Thanks again, Sir! To be clear, it is that overlay of semi transparent color I'm referring to; I believe you made it move across the map by using the slider/graph below. My wife and I are both photographers who really appreciate your video, so much. No criticism to this awesome PhotoPills App creator, but your instructions are far better in several respects. I know English is not his first language, and we sincerely congratulate him for the instruction effort...and a terrific app.

I see. Maybe it isn’t your device but that you have accidentally hit the Astronomical, Nautical and Civil Twilight Button. The modules you see on the right side of my screen are at the top if you are on a mobile device and not a tablet. Go to the one that has a square with colored columns as a button and says ASTRONOMICAL NAUTICAL and CIVIL. That square with the colored columns is a button and you can tap that to activate the colored overlays or deactivate them. Perhaps you have accidentally deactivated them in the past? If that isn’t it then maybe it is your Android device. But my guess is that you have that button deactivated. Thanks for your other kind words too! I love Rafael as well and German work on this app! But the accents can make it tough to follow some videos sometimes. I hope to get out all the videos I have planned soon to help everyone love PhotoPills as much as I do! 😃 -Aaron

INTERESTING! Pushing the square button you describe actually does create an overlay - sometimes - it is hit or miss/works then not. The overlay is complete on my Galaxy S7 phone; that is, there is no overlay "edges" when you slide across the day/night scale and as mentioned here sometimes it works sometimes not. I did not have a clue to try it until you mentioned it - Thanks yet again! . The radial colored arms do work just fine, however. No worries.

Glad that worked even though it is a hit and miss for some reason on your phone...really weird that is happening. You are welcome for the help! Hope it keeps working more and more! 😃 -Aaron

Just watched your tutorial Dave, learned a lot thanks, just one problem I noticed when working along on my ipad Air(not that the equipment is at fault) but you instructed how to find where the moon will rise using the red and black pins and the find button, of course it works, BUT, surely it only indicates where the moon will be in the sky at that point in time, not where it actually comes over the horizon? The reason I ask this is when you go back into saved plans, the moon rising indicator is not on the path of the red and black pin on the saved plan. and how did you get the colours to show up on the map depicting the various stages sun, moon and twylight etc ? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks .

Great Video. Learned a lot. Can you cover in a new video what does one need to do when there is no internet or data connection in the area and how to prepare for that possibility? What features will be limited or not working entirely when that may occur? Thanks

Love your question, Dave! That is actually a question I answered in one of my Milky Way Course Live Ask Me Anythings and I don’t share those publicly outside of my Course students. So I will create a video soon to answer that for you! Thanks for asking and thanks for watching, David! 😃 -Aaron

Thank you, Fernando! Definitely need to get an Android device to troubleshoot the issue you are having before it declared for sure a missing feature currently on the PhotoPills Android Beta. I will look into that ASAP for you, Fernando! Love the idea of getting another device especially when I can claim work related cost 😆! Thank you for the kind words and support watching through the live feed! Hope you will feel that you have found a home for PhotoPills and Milky Way Photography Information here with us at Photog Adventures! 😃 And return often! -Aaron
