Thanks Charlotte. I think KIa has a game changer with the full 2nd row being able to be fully removed. It allows the vehicle to be used as a people carrier and a hauler. One thing as well, I don't think you've pointed out, is the middle seat in the second row can move back further than the two end seats! Three people in the 2nd row can then be staggered and not brushing elbows. It'll be good to see how the Hybrid matches up, but a shame for no AWD on this vehicle, especially here in Canada!
Yes the middle seats has lots of options for movement! I didn’t specifically mention it, but hopefully anyone watching can get a good look at how far the rails extend backwards! We did make sure to show it in our full review of the Carnival too! Thanks for commenting!
Very well demonstrated and explained. Thank You
Thanks for watching!

this is my exercise for the week
Thank you!
Hello can this be done with the 2025 carnival prestige package, i have not been able to do it and it is a bit uncomfortable for those that have to enter and get to the back seats. Thanks,
You’re amazing ❤
You're a mind reader, Charlotte. This is why I want the 8 seater to maximize the available space at times. Are you aware that you can switch the outer bench seats to reverse the seating as each has its own seatbelt system? Btw, my target 2025 Carnival SX Prestige specification is Ivory Silver, Off Black Leather interior and is actually available for immediate purchase about 20 miles away. Note Kia only packages the complete ambient lighting feature (including all door panels) and the 2nd row double pane windows with the 7 seat Captains chairs configuration (Seat Package). My target vehicle happens to be equipped with the upgraded 14.6 inch Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) tablets. The demo I received was awesome. This is my current dilemma but may have to be satisfied with the VIP lounge chairs option as is. Tough problem to have, eh? Again, this is Lawrence from South Florida.
Hey Lawrence! That definitely is a tough problem to have haha - sounds like you’ve got some fun choices to make! Thanks for watching!
Good job.
Hi I love watching your videos can you please 🙏 upload 4k videos please❤
Has Kia addressed the rails getting hot when the van idles for a period of time?
This hasn't been something we've experienced in Canada. However, it's going to vary depending on geography/climate. The rails are metal and metal does get hot if it's sitting idle in a hot climate.
If you remove the 2nd row middle seat, can the two middle row chairs move side to side (left to right)?
No, only on the SX + can the seats move side-to-side.
Is this with all models of the Kia carnival?
For everything except the SX+. The SX+ has the captains chairs
Ok.. I ask because I can't locate the handle on my model, it's the one above the base model
It must be different for the Aussie cars as we have cabling into ours as well
What yr model?
This is the 2025 Sx!
Does the base/LX trim level also have these feature?
Yes! The seats are removable on the base!
Can’t compete with stow ‘n go
Not meant to. They chose to go with good comfy seating instead of fold in the floor church pews. Different things work for different families.
I’ll admit, I am a fan of stow ‘n go, but I find these seats to be more comfortable. Plus I love having a more customizable interior layout!
@@BrantfordKiaoh never thought about that! I guess because I was a kid I didn’t care about how comfortable the seats were lol
@@coheneastman6523 20 plus years ago, I bought a ford windstar because it had built in child safety seats. Very uncomfortable for adults but very useful for my young children. I didn't even think about the fact that child seats expire, I just thought that was an awesome feature. I also like the idea of stow n go for people who need a cargo van one day, then a family vehicle the next. Its absolutely brilliant for that purpose, but as a comfy adult transporter, it doesn't fare well.
Headrest down 1st so you won't have to glitch the video lol
literally tho
It looks easy, but trust me, it is not. At all. And she doesn't mention the most important aspect, how you find the spot where you place the seat back.
With my deepest respect, this video misses the most important part.
With all due respect, did you watch the video? The process is actually very easy, and all was shown in this video in just over 2 minutes.
To put the seat back you simply align the seat back with the rails and press down, you will hear it click and lock into place, as demonstrated in the video.
If there’s anything you’re stuck on, let us know. We can try to walk you through it.
NO GOOD.
ITS BETTER YO FOLD IT IN PUT THEN UNDER THE FLOOR
I think stow and go seats and fully removable seats both have their time and place. While I do enjoy stow and go seating, it's not as comfortable for the rear passengers. If you use the van for cargo more than passengers stow and go makes sense, but if you're primarily hauling people, I'd want a more comfortable seat.
