Ronald Reagan made the mistake of choosing Bush Sr. as his running mate. JFK made the mistake of choosing LBJ. And Trump made the mistake of choosing Pence. You have to weigh the pros and cons of "balancing the ticket." On the one hand, it may help you win the election. But, on the other, if the VP is not cut from the same cloth, they can undermine or destroy your presidency. In the case of Trump, if he picks anybody that the swamp would rather do business with, it will be an invitation for them to take him out, either by impeachment or more drastic means. I think the swamp would relish Tulsi as president. She ticks the box for first woman and she's an ex-Democrat. They can probably get her to play ball in ways that Trump won't. For that reason, I think she is not a good choice. In this instance, Trump needs to pick someone even more radical than himself. He needs an insurance policy (like Biden has with Kamala.) I like Vivek Ramaswami. Assuming his rhetoric is genuine, he is the Deep State's worst nightmare.
Gabbard would be a good VP choice - I would be a little apprehensive about a Gabbard presidency (probably would prefer Ramaswamy), but Gabbard would be WAY, WAY, WAY better than corrupt elite Hillary or a complete dumb-ass like Harris.
I’m tired of people saying that these politicians are our leaders. They are not our leaders! For the love of God Americans uphold your own freedom and hold the government accountable.

My Uncle who was a Vietnam Veteran felt like His Country turned it's back on those who made it back home and didn't take care of them in a good and much deserving way! He told me horrible things about the Vietnam conflict and it broke my heart to know how bad he was suffering from within because he had been turned away when he was asking for help!

My late husband and I would second this opinion. He served before Vietnam, in Vietnam and then had to reenlist to retirement because he couldn't get (or keep) an outside job upon returning. Then, when retirement hit, the actions of VA et al related agencies is why he's no longer with us.

Trump said he wants to dismantle, the constitution of the USA, basically it doesn't suit him because it is allowing people to hold the Government accountable. Don't even get me started on Hillary, she was saying how much Social Security will be out of money soon, so, she decided to start collecting Social Security +/- $3500 per month from it because she only made 1.6 million dollars last year, that takes money from 2.5 people that actually needs it.

I will likely vote for Kennedy as Independent. We need another party. The two are both , a poor description of what we need. I am frankly sick of Trump's antics and visible instability. His aggressive behavior such as throwing food on the wall, or tearing up documents and putting them in the toilet ( that has been observed by the White House staff ) is a red flag, he should not be president. He is an obvious megalomaniac, with delusions of grandeur and these people only want what is best for them, nothing to do with helping other people. Compassion ? nope, none of that either. He has no morals, no ethics and will say whatever he feels , people want to hear. We should be able to do better than this. There's also a cast scanner on the mountain pointed at Highway 97 so when someone goes by and they have large amounts of cash that scanner informs the cops the cash just came through and guess what. Then the cops are asking you do you have any money on you if you ask the authorities they'll say they don't know what it is that's what those little strips and the bills are about
As a USAF retiree who served from 2001-2021, I appreciate Tulsi's perspective, and I agree with much of what she says. Particularly, I agree with her thoughts on foriegn policy, and our military. Trump would be lucky to have her as VP, but if not, our country is lucky to have her as an American.

@@anthonypoole4025 , to be fair, if that is her real current net worth then it's lower than I'd expect for someone who has written at least 1 or 2 books in multiple formats, has been a Presidential candidate AND for someone who COULD have easily invested some of her earnings which is what a lot of people do to become wealthier. If you don't believe it just look at the wealth the notorious Clintons and Obamas have accumulated JUST from "books and speaking engagements" alone. Yes, but capitalism without regulation turns into a form of corporatism, whereby the wealth and power is more and more concentrated into the hands of fewer and fewer, because wealth begets more wealth.
Corporations are a particular evil, because they're legally obliged to maximise profit at the expense of everyone and everything else, and the owners aren't legally liable for their decisions. So the CEO of Boeing, who KNEW that the planes weren't safe, faces no consequences for killing 300+ people.
I do wonder what capitalism would have been if corporations weren't created 200 years ago. I suspect it would have been something similar: monopolies, corruption, insane inequalities of wealth. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely, so we need to spread the power (via ownership, decision-making and wealth) around to as many as possible. Local government and local ownership of businesses.
But it is. Just like Communism and Socialism leads to Authoritarianism, Capitalism leads to Corporatism. "Greed is, in fact, human nature. And it knows no bounds.
It's Crony Capitalism as well, yes it's very corrupted, and got much worse during the lock down.

Well actually, the republic died decades ago. In 1789 the USA went from being a republic to a constitutional representative democracy. We are neither a direct democracy nor a republic, but a bit of both a republic whose inalienable rights will exist as long as the majority continues to believe in God, and a representative democracy who will take our rights as soon as belief in God, family, country altars. Which is exactly why they are attacking faith, family, flag. The best any American can hope for is a 4 year delay granted by Trump, but be sure, the global government and America becoming a 3rd whirls country is going to happen. There is no doubt.
